He must have had a “no firearms allowed in the building under any circumstances” instruction or something for this to make ANY sense at all.

This. Hershey’s is the “chocolate” for people who have never tasted chocolate. And I say this living in Central PA and having had Hershey’s as a client.

There are some interesting articles out there (was it “Inc.,” maybe?) that talk about how much of this concern about Huawei isn’t based on national security at all... it’s based on the inability of the U.S. to compete in a fast-growing 5G market. By creating supposed (and unproven) ties to the Chinese government, they

Well, I literally JUST bought a Huawei MateBook X Pro (argued by many tech review sites to have been the best laptop of 2018) with pre-installed Win 10 from the Microsoft store two days ago. They had damn well better keep supporting it.

I like how the laptop link goes to... another monitor.

Exactly. And Endgame has already surpassed the first release of Avatar, which no one seems to be talking about.

This seems... good. I think Microsoft (and Phil Spencer) are doing a lot of things right, recently...

Let’s be real for a moment... while decency would say yes, we should help them get what they need, the unfortunately reality is that people have broken the law here. And it’s not the custody agents.

That’s not a contradiction at all... if Sony and Nintendo are putting up walls around all their games, users of other platforms can’t play those games regardless of how good they are. For Microsoft, creating games people want to play—and then making them available in multiple outlets—is just smart. Now you’re playing

Everything we know? Really? How about the fact that it’s probably fake?

Oh yeah, it’s bad... I have many of these GE “smart” bulbs in my home (Google pairs them with a Hub as a “starter” kit at a decent price... and as a Google partner, they’ve got to be decent, right?). Anyway, a power outage one day knocked ALL of my “C” bulbs offline, and they refused to re-pair by themselves (unlike

What’s funny is that the left didn’t have a problem supporting something similar when it came to broadcast radio (where the right is the primary voice). You can’t have it both ways.

And then cancelled his show, even though it was the highest-watched in its time slot. But oops, his character espoused conservative viewpoints. So, yeah...

So, what’s the deal with Stadia? Like, am I really going to have to pay $9.99 for streaming (4K), and THEN pay another $14.99 to Ubisoft (or whoever) for an actual catalog of games? That means I’m paying $25 PER MONTH! At those prices, I could easily buy a console and save some money. The value prop on this is looking

Frankly, the supposed issues of internet connectivity doesn’t concern me. What DOES concern me is the idea of layered subscriptions... a $9.99 Stadia subscription (for 4K) to stream + a $14.99 Ubisoft subscription for some games? Why on earth would I do that when I can get an Xbox Game Pass for $9.99 (and whatever

Funny thing... as a rebuttal to the launch of the Xbox One X—and the relative inability of the PS4 Pro to render 4K natively—Sony once produced studies saying the human eye couldn’t distinguish between 1080p and 4K at game-playing distances. Of course, that was kind of bullshit. But the point is even greater here...

it seems pretty damn great looking so far

You don’t want to be able to play virtually any game, anywhere, on any device? Okaaaay... hope you’re enjoying that time spent in your basement with discs that’ll be unreadable in another decade or two.

They’re really... not. I’m 6'2" tall, and I have two of them. I sit at a stool to play them, and it’s great. These were designed for large, commercial/retail spaces, so in a home environment, the scale is perfect.
