Let’s be real about this... companies these days are afraid of the virtual mob more than the are of real ones. That’s what killed this deal, and the $27,000,000,000.00 it would have brought in tax revenue (sorry, AOC—you didn’t just find $3 billion, you lost $27 billion because you don’t know how economics works).

Don’t buy these. After a few months they’ll be shedding all over the place. We actually had to get our dryer vent professionally cleaned due to all the fibers left by balls like this. Oh, and btw, they didn’t do a damn thing to make clothes dry faster or with fewer wrinkles, etc. Pure snake oil.

I’m convinced the GND is just a pendulum swing to make everything else seem more “mainstream” in comparison...

The irony is that these same protesters will likely be out again in a week or two complaining about a lack of work or lack of funding for shelters, etc. Meanwhile, they just ensured a big source of jobs will (eventually) find a home elsewhere.

Yeah, but the premise just sounds so... dumb?

All this fear and consternation, yet not a single mention of the fact that Google also sells a mesh WiFi system, and Apple sold routers and extenders for years. Somehow, the world didn’t explode.

I wish you guys would stop saying these Dyson outlet things are good deals. Take the V10 Animal, for instance. It’s marked at $589. The 20% discount is capped at $100, which takes you to $489. Guess what Amazon’s price is for the same model? It’s $489, just like it has been for a while now.

That statement makes it sound like the police were the aggressors. But I digress...

How about we put race aside for one moment and look at the law:

Speaking in the earth-based terms of a fighter pilot, it should be “higher, FARTHER, faster.” Farther = distance, whereas further = abstract/thought.

No tats = no regrets

Yeah, that’s how we defeat candidates in 2019...”

I don’t care what this story is about.. can we please just stop overusing “clap back” like an 8-year old who just discovered social media?

How about some mention of audio and video streaming quality? Some mention of bit rate, bit depth, resolution, resistance to interference, format compatibility... or anything other than the basics, basically.

Well, he is a white male. So, we can’t possibly show him being happy or successful. He must suffer.

The Biblical passage is clearly talking about motivations, not the actual amount given. Falwell is talking about tangible benefits, not motivations. There’s a difference... one has to do with the soul, one has to do with keeping people warm at night. Both are relevant, both important. But let’s not confuse the two.

Funny how “old” Gawker is all sunshine and roses now, when back in the day its own employees wrote in-depths missives against it. Either way, the vitriol in this article is reminiscent of that prior website, so it’s on-point.

Paying more for 4K could make sense, but if you compare it to Amazon Prime, their 4K titles are all included for the same price. Maybe Netflix should think about offering a single, “best we have available” tier to everyone like Amazon does.

Because we don’t need AwD? Because we don’t need ground clearance? I fail to see your argument unless you live in an environment devoid of inclement weather or anything but smooth roads.

This makes no sense if they’re trying to expand their reach. I use one of these to stream music from a Google Hub to my “good” stereo—which is not a single-speaker-in-a-box toy like most of these lifestyle units. For that, it works great. And a Chromecast (which would have to route through a TV first) completely
