Assuming you’re not a troll, and just merely uninformed, here’s “one good reason”: no torque converter (i.e., no power loss).

Underwhelming is right. If anything, it’s barely comparable to an XOne S, which itself will soon be replaced by Scorpio. There’s just not any compelling reason to get the Pro—especially without “real” 4k support or 4k BluRay playback.

Boo. Good idea, poor execution. And from a company that is doing so many ST and RS things right these days...

Even as a “research” tool, this isn’t ready for Prime-time (pun intended)... try researching a Focus RS in stealth gray, and you get a Focus ST in blue with a “fully electric variant available.”

Yeah, me neither. It’s not like he was banging the rev-limiter or street racing or anything. Heck, I had a Mazda dealer back my Miata into a pole at their garage. Dealers have done much worse.

This “if she identifies...” comment is one of the most illogical comments I’ve ever read on this site (and that’s saying a lot). It smacks of millenial feel-goodism in a way that is staggering. Let’s count the ways this is wrong:

CO2 emissions?... Try the bulk of Washington DC which, of course, Mr. Trump is not a part.

Ha. Good. I will not only NOT buy an autonomous car, I will do everything in my power to prevent others from making the same mistake. We need more alert DRIVERS, not more automation.

It does look pretty great. It’s polarizing, but every time I see one it catches my eye. The back-end rump is a little odd (the CrossTour is _terrible_ inspiration), but these Civics actually look pretty sweet in real life.

So, why do we see a manual tranny in the pic, but only the automatic on VW’s US website? I will NOT buy one with an auto. But with a manual... well, this sure looks fun!
