There's nothing inherently wrong about electric cars (instant torque, weight down low, fewer mechanical parts, etc.). It's just that people shouldn't be fooled into thinking they are "saving the environment" by buying one... the electricity still has to come from somewhere, and batteries aren't exactly eco-friendly to

Ok, so once you become a victim, then what? I've had this happen after receiving a spoofed email from a client, and eventually shutting down two different email accounts and telling everyone to block any email from "me" at those addresses. Is there anything else that can be done?

Uh, Harryh is basically right. He doesn't say it eloquently, but weapons are to kill people and break things. Glorifying weapons and then being aghast when they are actually used is a bit hypocritical. That's not saying anything about their use here is "right." But his point is that you can't have your cake and eat

Those wheels... wow. Horrible. And the wheel/tire/suspension look a little overkill for "up to 25mph." Could probably do something a lot simpler to get the price down, and not lose much (if any) actual functionality.

Also disagree on the Volt. The "save the planet" model might be questionable (electric still has to come from somewhere, and batteries aren't exactly earth-friendly), but the engineering behind it is truly impressive.

Dogs have several thousand more years of human-loyalty breeding in them than cats. Ergo, it took several thousand more years for *some* dogs to do what this cat did instinctively.

And the obvious question is... what happened to the cat? Fortunately, since the original video was shot from 3 angles (who the heck has 3 cameras in their front yard?), we know the hero cat returned to the boy after chasing the dog away.

They were. The 924 was technically produced from 1978 through '88, but in the US, the 944 replaced it in 1983. The 944 ran from 1982 through the very early 90s (until the 968, itself an evolution of the 944) replaced it. So basically, 924, then 944, then 968. There were overlaps of powertrains and lots of parts.

This. Give it enough juice to have current titles from 3rd parties. I don't need Mario in super-duper-high-res. Just everything else.

SNES. The article above hints as such: "...Nintendo's 16-bit console, whenever they introduced it."

You're assuming the Euro car and the Ameri car are the same price. But dollars to donuts they won't be... the 'merican car will likely be about $10k cheaper than the nearest Bavarian equivalent. And you're also assuming they'll both have a manual transmission, which the Euro brands all are phasing out.

That's ok, Iwata. And any thoughts you may have had about this making anyone care about the WiiU are also... how do I put this... oh yeah, "groundless."

Suddenly I have interest in a Jaguar...

Well, the 4 in my wife's 951 (944 turbo) isn't a flat-four, but it's still fun. Just not as fun as a flat-four would be...

You had me at "neo-Beat"...

Wow, for the first time in my adult life... I agree with Consumer Reports 100%. It's a turd on wheels... and a droopy, ugly-faced turd, at that.

Nothing. But thanks for asking.

Could. Not. Agree. More.

Agreed. Damon is way off on this one... why are "redefining" anything, when it's OUR past-time/hobby/interest? Why do we need to bend to accommodate all the slack-jawed, ADD-riddled car buyers that are more interested in texting than driving? That's the reason we have half of this crap... cars that practically drive

Seriously. I hate them, too.
