Yes, yes they are. But all the better for the rest of us who love them. Thumbs-up!

Indeed. And very hard to find a proper factory slant-nose now. Solid investment.
Never understood why making decisions based on race wasn't called racism in the first place. Just because it's reverse-racism doesn't make it any less racist. Being Latino and writing a big paper in disagreement doesn't change that. Only redefining the definition of racism does, which is exactly what Sotomayor is…
1) The measurement system used by the most powerful country in the world.
My thoughts, exactly. I had a last-gen R32, and sold it in less than a year. The DSG ruined it.
Oddly, this isn't any more annoying that deGrasse's condescending, know-it-all series (that, by the way, is not doing well in the ratings). The hubris with which deGrasse delivers his "matter of fact" explanations pretends we know as much about the universe as this video pretends people of faith don't.
Cochese is right. I live in Lancaster, PA... buggies go down the street in front of my house. The Amish (and old-order Mennonite) right deserve both respect and criticism. Many of their laws simply depend on the whims of the local bishop versus anything outlined in the Bible.
Correction: We are a nation that does not live in naivete.
Not really a fail when you look at mission parameters. Range, in particular, is important, and battery-powered motors lose about half their range when it's cold outside. They also tend to add weight and complexity to a vehicle that is already heavy and complex. But most of all, diesels can be both fixed and refueled…
Can I vote for a different designer? They make humans look like some kind of mutant hunchback-like creature. They remove the "human-ness" of our form. That seems wrong, particular with the idea of taking humanity to new places.
Not only is the 2014 Cooper S better than the Fiesta, the 2013 Cooper S is, as well. And both are better than the Focus ST, to boot. I test drove both, and so did my wife. The Ford products weren't even close... very plasticky and phoney (right down to the piped-in engine sounds on the Focus). The MINIs were much more…
Ok, great, so stuff exploded and gave us everything we see. Where did the stuff that exploded come from? Call it God or call it something else, but the fact remains that there was something before the bang. Something from nothing doesn't happen apart from the supernatural (i.e., something beyond our understanding).
Funny... as an owner of 4 cats, upon reading the fourth paragraph, my immediate reaction was: "Annalee, this is insane! If you've let this go to the point where one cat is urinating in fear and there is blood from either of them, you've let it go too far and this is cruelty. Buy a cheap water squirter already and…
I agree... Zac, you've beaten this horse enough already. The car is fine, but the ad is fantastic. For once, I actually want a Cadillac. And it's because this ad made me proud to be an American, not a Western European socialist suffering through 14% unemployment, constant bailouts and government run everything.
This is one of the best car ads I've seen in years... and one of the best ads, in general. Screw you, European Socialism and your 14% unemployment.
You had me at: "Yes, you can order a manual."
Not on your life... sorry, but the current Abarth is a sh*tbox as it is (I badly wanted one, until I drove one and found out for myself). Removing any hint of sound deadening or NVH suppression will only expose the rattle-trap underneath.
Agreed. R56 owner here... the fat, overweight 2014 model is a real turn-off. Glad I got into a 2013 while I could. I'll hang into it forever if MINI keeps on pooping out turds like the 2014 model.
Looks like a Panda, smells like a Panda... but hey, it has a Jeep grill, so it must be a Jeep!
My thoughts, exactly. If you're on the ground (and have gravity), a mech makes sense. In space, it would be completely pointless. I didn't see any ground combat here to justify the extra weight and complexity a transforming battle platform would require.
