I would have to agree with that. I think there's some higher-level Gawker mandate that pushes for maximum article clicks above pretty much everything else (include facts, proofreading and worthwhile content, though that's not the case here). I just feel bad for Gawker writers, because I think that's about the only way

Travis, you're wrong, and you need to deal with it. Here's an article I wrote for MotoringFile that explains why: http://www.motoringfile.com/2010/09/28/keep-your-dsg-ill-take-a-manual/

I honestly don't even get why this is a debate. We've spent all this money on a plane that is very nearly ready to rock and now pulling the plug is a good idea? Um, no, that's not a good idea at all, that's a STUPID idea!

Guess what... people have been debated and vying for people's votes since the day the union was founded. And sure, there will be exaggerations, and sometimes outright lies. But in the end, it's a PRIVILEGE to be able to vote, and we should be darn well thankful for it, not "enduring" it like spoiled brats.

She may be cool (hip references will do that), but her writing style is sloppy and tiresome. Yeah, it's effective right now because it's different than all the usual PR hacks, but in the long-run, it will get old and just come off as a lame gimmick.

This is SO close to being a great idea... finally a set-top box with HD antenna (coax) support with channel guide, DVR and app functionality. BUT, the cloud storage and monthly fee thing just kills it. Put in a local storage option and we might have something here...

Nope.

So nice to see one of these cars in the hands of someone who knows how special it is, and who can see past its faults for the sheer emotion and soul that it embodies.

If you ever use the word "practical" in the same conversation as the word "Lamborghini" ever again, the whole of the Internet will simultaneously reach out and smack you.

I don't think it was just a poor M5 launch. I think the Tesla just has instant torque, and therefore it LOOKS like the M5 gets off slowly... because in comparison, it does.

Um, no. But thanks for the baiting question, Joe. Ironic that you should ask, considering the Android OS wouldn't even exist, had it not been for iOS.

Let's hope this program doesn't get canceled like all of the others that were basically "done," (or darn near) and then got their funding pulled right before being ready to deploy. That pisses me off more than just about any other form of government waste (well, okay, maybe Obamaphones first... but this is close).

No, they don't. Because Nintendo has done a suck-ass job of promoting the thing to anyone who doesn't already follow gaming (don't get me started on the snooze-fest Nintendoland presentation).

I actually own two of those... great for using with a laptop. And they work pretty well!

"Tilt at too large a windmill..." What the heck kind of backwoods idiom is that? Being clever at the expense of being clear is never a good idea.

This is hardly even a question. Name one Air Force pilot that could land on a tiny, bobbing deck in the middle of the ocean. Now do that at night. In a storm. Mmm... hm.

Weirdest Twitter what, Sam? Twitter feed? Twitter tweets (or posts)? Twitter handle? Twitter account? You're using the word "Twitter" incorrectly in that headline, and sounding like an elderly politician trying to be hip in the process.

You have two versions of beige on the list. I agree both are hideous, and that was a good call.

Oh, oh, this looks like... ugh. No fun at all. Looks like they took everything bad about "on-rails" shooters and made it even more on-rails-y. Pass.

And the people of the Old Testament and the history surrounding it all are symbolic, too? Pretty sure there are more than a few archaeologists who might beg to differ.
