oh my god, the fury. Homeboy better hope he doesn’t get caught by a crowd of commuters he made late to work. There won’t be enough left for the rats.
Don’t over think it. If my kid asked me about this sticker I’d tell him the “B” fell off.
If Giants fans are known for anything, it’s for being extremely old. Which is why Gettleman is the perfect GM for us, he gets up there and says these new fangled stats aren’t as important as watching your future QB in an exhibition game even the scouts don’t watch and trades our best player for “cultural” reasons,…
If you don’t mind the wrap, this is what these sell for. Mileage isn’t scary high. Cabs are cheaper for whatever reason.
Too bad you can’t get Giants / Jets info, it might make for an interesting comparison. Since they play in a wasteland, I am not sure East Rutherford would even respond. I do know there’s lots of stateys in the parking lots.
I feel like these stories should say the Angels beat the “Yankees.” And of course, now Frazier’s hurt.
What if you disagree that the interior is important? I certainly don’t think an interior is a huge part of any car. Maybe that’s why I like my car so much, even with the slate grey interior. I don’t really care what any car’s interior looks like, as long as its in good shape and everything works. I’m a lot more…
The electrical drain thing is weird. I have heard this complaint on several forums now. My car sits for months at a time and starts right up.
While no longer enforced by geography, in general the fandom clusters around the same teams. So:
My dad grew up on 113th street in Manhattan, and was therefore a New York Giants fan. When they moved out west, my dad decided, in a big F-U to the Giants, he would become a Yankees fan.
It bothers me on the 996 because I wonder irrationally if it affects the braking function. I suppose part of this is due to the current trend in thin spoke rim design. You can see more rotor.
Fuck Gettleman. We traded the best offensive player the Giants have ever had for a 17, the last pick in the 3rd round and a punt returner who can play safety who has exactly one goddamn sack. You want to blow up the team, fine. Just don’t get goddamned fleeced like this.
It definitely serves to give this Giants fan a heart attack, that’s what it does.
Someone may have mentioned this already but is there a hole for a tow bar? My car is similar in that the front mounted plate placement is terrible. Mounting a license plate on a custom holder in the tow bar hole is slightly less bad because it is lower and off center which looks better.
Outside of the paperwork issues (which seem kinda shady), these things tend to rust around the ‘birdcage,’ which is the frame around the cockpit from the windshield back. The pics being outside don’t bode well, but if non-rusty this could be a fun project. The hassle part has already been done, now you just have to…
I disagree that Porsche guys don’t consider this a real Porsche. The 914 gets a lot of respect because so many guys race them. Also, since you couldn’t give these things away 20 years ago, they’re relatively rare. A lot of them were just left to rot. Then there’s the fact that VW plant or no, at least it’s cooled “corr…
Dude, go for it. This is the early 16v, which means non-interference which means that even if the worst happens (the timing belt goes boom), its not that big a deal.
This smells like someone trying to ditch a lemon. I assume he’s taken it to his Alfa dealer for the work, so if you could figure that out you might be able to get the history.
Imagine you’re on your couch, doing nothing more strenuous than flipping the channels, wondering what’s for lunch. All of a sudden, you’re somewhere else, like the grocery store. That’s what driving this car is like.
