Does "full recovery" mean "not having constant horrifying nightmares about falling into a grave/hole"? Because that would be impressive.

The first I heard of this show was on a radio interview, so when she said she got naked a lot, my interest was peaked. Then I saw her on the Daily Show and was no longer interested.

I always want to hate Tom Cruise, but he almost always wins me over. He's a pretty good actor, or at least charismatic.

I don't care what anyone says, Eyes Wide Shut was a fucking brilliant movie.

Yeah, I didn't think about that. I guess I'll continue to say it was the company's fault then.

I don't think Smith is interested in criticism because he's not interested in progressing as an artist. He just wants to do what he does, and have everyone watch it and love it. Thinking about it that way makes the "retiring from directing" thing make a lot of sense, because he's done all that he really can do, so he

I used to evaluate things based on what they were trying to do, because I used to give a shit about how movies were made and artist's intention. But now that I'm older I just don't give a shit, I just want to be entertained. I evaluate things on whether I laugh or how plausible the explosions are.

I just watched about half of one of his Q&As on netflix streaming, and he had a pretty intense story about his dad dying, so maybe that influenced the whole negativity-aversion thing.

I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed Jersey Girl. I think I was just in the right place in my life to like it, and George Carlin was great. I will never watch it again, though, because I realize it was hokey bullshit and I'll never be in the right mindset to enjoy it.

I definitely lean towards blaming the company when someone gets hurt, because even if that person was just stupid, proper training and equipment is a matter of course. Good companies spend good money on training so that even when they hire idiots, those idiots are at least safe on the job.

I think that's what the quote is saying, although it's a little mangled. They initially claim it's hard, but when Frontline pressed them, they admitted it was only 2 or 3 phone calls.
