I don't know, I think this show is pretty consistent with the other Marvel Netflix shows in that the plot is mostly serious with here and there introducing more comic book concepts(daredevil's costume, A guy who can control minds with pheromones, a guy with unbreakable skin he got from a prison experiment)

the whole point of the season seemed to be Danny trying to figure out what being the Iron Fist means for him.

so according to the reviewer this episode is somehow both too serious and not serious enough.
I guess there is no pleasing some people.

I got more of a Keanu Reeves vibe from him during that finger flipping scene.

Caroline Siede (one of TV club's many female reviewers) seems to have a one track mind regarding these reviews.

Woooooooow, just wow.
so now anyone who works towards a goal when other people put him down and tell him he can't do it, even if he doesn't consider the consequences all the way, is like Trump?! really?!

If you really think about it there was no real reason for Ezra to even BE in this episode.
It's not like he learned anything from Obi-Wan or even tell the rebel alliance that he was alive.
Once the real confrontation started Ezra was like "k' I'm going home"
The episode would have worked a lot better if it depicted Maul

"Well I was just standing here, and Tom Cruise locked himself in the closet. I asked myself 'Why won't Tom Cruise just come out the closet?' Nobody has no answers, AND SO I PULL OUT MY GUN!"

yep, this review is definitely biased against the concept of another white male superhero.
It's taking things that are acceptable in other shows like a slow burn start, a wide eyed fish out of water protagonist and making them the END of the series, and good stuff about the show are treated as oddities or not even

I figure during the 'Feeling good' music video they just told Audrey Plaza to dance around the sets of the show and do whatever she liked.

How can fans of this character want to him to be not white?!(they can't be such fans of his if they want to change something so fundamental about him)

sure, but I think I can sympathize with Wedge a little with taking the droids a little less seriously(especially since this is his first long interaction with them) after they had, what I assume, an hours worth rendition of 'Annie's Got A Gun' right next to him.

can we have Wedge replace Ezra as a main character? he's much more likeable.

nice use of Radiohead's - "The Daily Mail" and "The Rainbow Connection" from the muppet movie (Kermit never sounded creepier)

sooooo, are they ever going to address the whole Jedi situation?
it looks like we are getting pretty close to the movies(what are we, a few years before 'A new hope'?) and Ezra and Kanan are taking a pretty active role in rebel operations(this time Ezra interacted with both Gold Leader and the freaking leader of the

It's Jemaine not Jermaine.

she's not, but she specifically focuses a liiiiiittle too much on her private parts in her routines.

13 seconds in : "… pussy…", that's some kind of record.

DO IT! punch his head through a wall, DO IT!

finally an improvement with this episode, Emily actually had a funny line:
(after the Riddler gang shows up with their question mark shirts)
"please tell me this is a Japanese game show"
