I couldn't agree more with everything you've said. People will say the most socially awkward things regardless of race issues. And parenting is the land of unnecessary opinions. Every parent feels they are doing the right way so if other parents are doing it differently is feels threatening.

I'm living in a warped version of this right now. Except in my world the ex gets fired at the beginning of December and we are left to make sure the four year old doesn't have to know the other parent is useless and won't live up to promises. Yay!
