It feels like they've been more lenient since Eric Coleman became head of TVA. Shows like Motorcity and Pickle & Peanut probably wouldn't have happened in another era.

Regarding the recasts, it feels like they're trying a gimmick similar to Chowder and Harvey Beaks (since Hale reportedly isn't voicing Princess), but why they didn't cast the original Girls as new characters, I don't know.

In all fairness, Disney does have a lot of TVA projects in the pipeline—maybe a little too much. These past few weeks they've done announcements regarding upcoming Tangled, DuckTales, and Big Hero 6 shows, and two new original creator-driven cartoons.

Regarding death not being directly mentioned, is the show still TV-Y7 rather than TV-PG?
