My first thought on seeing the headline was “what, they didn’t have enough story for a series?” xD much as I like Rhodey I’ve always been a bit dubious about the show anyway - it feels like a filler project to me. Mind you, can’t say it’s likely to fare much better as a film...

Another week, another waste of time. Also, maybe She-Hulk would be the ‘prettier friend’ if Marvel didn’t bully their CGI artists. I’m at the point where I’m actually struggling to look at her.

No mention of Charlotte Ritchie seems a bit of an oversight, since she appears in the trailer to be the latest object of Ol’ Joe’s obsession...

Couldn’t have put it better myself!!

Jeff *Garlin*...

Were we watching the same show? There was one, and only one moment in this episode that I actually enjoyed, and it was Nikki agreeing with Mallory to keep Jen in the dark about Intelligencia, only to immediately tell her. Pretty much everything else was bollocks, as was much of last week. I was really looking forward

I have to imagine it’s part of the main Miyagiverse and will in some way tie in with Cobra Kai. Another reboot would be a missed opportunity, and a waste of the goodwill that the main series has built up over 40+ years.

Five episodes in, She-Hulk is, at least to me, an inoffensive but inessential show, mostly memorable for its rubbish CGI. I haven’t actively disliked any of it, but I also haven’t particularly enjoyed any of it either, apart from the Wong/Madisynn stuff from last week. At this point it’s definitely bottom of my

Is no-one else getting bewildered by the continuity? I had this thought last week, because episode 2 made it seem like She-Hulk and Shang-Chi are happening pretty much on top of each other. But that doesn’t make sense, because in the Shang-Chi post-credits Bruce is still using a sling and his inhibitor to appear

Gah. Someone slap him again.

Too right. The IJ universe already has Shia LaBeouf, who’s even worse.

I didn’t think I’d care about this one, but the trailer left me with a broad smile on my face. Partly because it’s good to have Marvel do teen superheroes again after cancelling Runaways - and Kamala has this sense of fun about her that is very Molly Hernandez - and partly because Blinding Lights perfectly captures

Are we not going to discuss how, after an entire season of trying to keep his head down and avoid being killed by either Carolyn or the Twelve, Konstantin is suddenly a politician? Or how Villanelle has now finally gone completely insane and is hallucinating herself as Jesus? (I don’t mind us not talking about that

I mean, have you seen some of the stuff Disney+ has put up under the ‘Starz’ banner? The Netflix shows will fit in juuust fine.

Series 2 ep 3 of Daredevil, episode 1 of Luke Cage. Muffled both times.

Three reasons this episode was worth watching for me - 1: Peli Motto. Anything with him in it is worth watching. 2: Cad fucking Bane. The dude exudes malevolence and charisma in a way Boba Fett never has for me. But on the other hand, 3: Say what you will about Fett’s (lack of) character development, but I finally got

I mean, the original show had its flaws too, which are becoming increasingly apparent to me as I rewatch it. The new version doesn’t have to be perfect either. I’d be quite happy to give it a go.

Honourable mention for ‘As I Have Always Been’ in Agents of SHIELD? God, that made me cry...

Fantastic. It’s like every time we get better representation onscreen, some bullshit comes along to ruin it. For every Atypical and As We See It, there’s a Sharp Stick and a Music. I already hated Dunham, now I can pop her in the proverbial burning wicker man with Sia.
