Yeah, I’m taking the Star Wars Expanded Universe approach with all the Marvel TV stuff myself. Tricky with Agents of SHIELD series 6-7, but in my head all that happened in an alternate 2019, and the same events took place in 2024 in the Sacred Timeline.

I loved every second of it, but maybe I wasn’t thinking about it very hard xD and I will not believe Wilson Fisk is dead until I see it with my own eyes. The fact that Hawkeye very deliberately did not show it is a pretty good indicator if you ask me. My guesses: Maya chickened out and only shot him non-fatally; or he

I may watch this just for Isabel May, because she’s fantastic. If the MCU ever decides to bring in Spider-Gwen, she’d be my choice to play her.

- FUCKING FISK’S BACK, BABY!!

As a wise man once said, “In a world gone mad, only a lunatic is truly insane.”

Well, I have issues, and they mostly revolve around Chibnall retconning whatever he feels like and thinking he can get away with it.

So hard to know what to think about this, given that it’s the first of a six-fucking-parter. (I do have concerns about that, given that Chibnall’s yet to convince me he can write a decent one-parter.) But there’s a lot to enjoy here, the best bits being Dan and Karvanista - particularly the two of them together.

Nice.

Not really. Which is probably why, until you mentioned him, I hadn’t even realised he wasn’t in these 8 episodes at all. Other characters have been neglected as well - Lydia’s had bugger all to do in her 3 appearances (since her mother and the Whisperers are gone, I suppose that makes some kind of sense, but it’s

“All of which, while interesting, is obviously also kind of off to the side from the core Doctor Who experience, i.e., yelling a whole bunch of made-up nouns in an incredibly urgent tone, while stuff explodes as cheaply as possible in the background.” Harsh, but fair.

Hey look, Katie McGrath’s a witch again. (You guys in the US, I don’t know if Merlin’s available over there, but I urge you to seek it out...)

I’m pretty sure that wasn’t Elijah in the other cell. I think that was Frost, the last survivor of Maggie’s three new red shirts from episode 1.

Oh, this is the Bad Place. No seriously, what the hell am I going to do without Lucifer to look forward to? And I’m not saying I’m not eager to see series 6, but I wished we’d had longer than 3 and a half months’ wait after series 5 - those final episodes needed to simmer a bit more, I reckon.

For the record, the comic tie-in Fury’s Big Week established that The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2 and Thor all happened in the same week back in 2012.

I already wasn’t ready to say goodbye to this show, and now the final series is coming out less than four months after series 5? Why not let it simmer for a bit?

I’m not an Arrowverse viewer at all, because as much of a sucker for a shared universe as I am, the whole thing seems too confusing at this point. However, on the strength of your reviews alone, I’m tempted to start watching Legends. And if Pearl Mackie joins the cast as you so brilliantly suggested, that may be my

There is a difference between holding people accountable for terrible behaviour and persecuting them for every stupid mistake they’ve ever made - particularly if it happened when they were a dumb kid. Obviously racism is bad, but c’mon, she was 14, maximum. Everyone needs to calm the fuck down.

Loved it as a dumb kid. Been wondering if I should revisit it as a (slightly less) dumb adult.

I was wondering if anyone was going to mention that! The only way Mr. Said Out Bitch’s reappearance could have been any better. *chef’s kiss*

Perhaps they cast her because they thought she’s a terrific actress. I know I do.
