Those Captains, such trolls.
It may well be that certain low level guns will end up being the most powerful in the Crucible simply because of bonuses, reload time, things that seem less important until you equalize all the damage...
It may scale damage, but it doesn't take away your class abilities and I assume it doesn't affect special weapon abilities. Playing at low levels in the Crucible (which is all I've done) I regularly see people doing crazy shit I cannot even do, regardless of damage. Everything in the game was designed for PvE, and…
Is it really that spammable? I haven't gotten far enough to see such things (and I don't usually play a Hunter), but that seems ridic. The Titan's super ultra power smash AE attack has a very long recharge.
Given that supposedly it was in development for Mac, it seems likely it will eventually, unless it just doesn't sell on PC. Eh, I'm playing Destiny for the time being anyway.
I'm mostly bummed because they shafted Mac users. My PC is in a closet and this isn't enough to get me to dig it out. The Sims was one of the few cross-platform franchises.
The Moto 360 is nice, the flat tire notwithstanding, though there isn't really much to it other than the fact that it is round. For whatever reason, people have decided to give the Moto 360's odd screen shape a pass, but if a certain other manufacturer did that, there would be "flat tire" memes flooding the…
Kind of a shame, as the Kinect-controlled Xbone (as a system, not necessarily for motion control in games) was a distinctive offering. Obviously not distinctive enough for people to be willing to pay a premium for it, however. The UI is still kind of a mess, and without Kinect voice commands as a shortcut, it's…
Were you using the two-factor authentication they keep constantly pushing on people because HEY GUYS YOU GET A FREE MOUNT?
Though I am myself looking to toss out my old IKEA stuff and upgrade to something better, and don't necessarily think custom cabinets like you're describing are unreasonably expensive, I don't understand this common argument that "sooner or later people need to get quality furniture that can last" in reference to…

You're right, now that you've put it in proper perspective, it seems somehow totally justified! Thanks Damian.
You're right, Twitch, it really was necessary and reasonable for me to watch a 30-second commercial before watching a 26-second video clip.
I think this article is a poorly thought-out and somewhat knee-jerk response to a difficult and emotional issue. Jezebel's take is much more even-handed and responsible, as are the comments (compared to many of the comments here). Nonetheless, it's good to start and continue having these conversations.
This was at First Avenue in Minneapolis. I suspect his whole tour was similar...
Ah, part of the soundtrack of my youth. I saw them play a few years ago and it was... not quite the same. At least partially because the stage was so full of fog that you could not actually verify that Andrew Eldritch was onstage. It's possible he had merely transformed into a gaseous state, however.
Of course the irony is that the movies these toys are shilling (and vice versa) features robots with incredibly complex and, indeed, mostly impossible transformations, yet the toys are the antithesis of that. Just goes to show that they really think nobody gives a shit.
Eh, I think it looks decent. As always, people complain about "more of the same" and then aggressively ignore games that try to do something different. I was never a Halo fan but it doesn't particularly bother me to think that the creators of Halo, surprise, kind of created the next Halo. Plus, Peter frickin' Dinklage.
