I got control of my finances and got out of debt with Mint. It took me 4 years, but I did it using Mint’s Goal feature to track my progress towards paying each debt off. I shows my net worth as well. It was great watching that number go up each month as I saved more and reduced debt.

this stuff is neat but not compelling me to upgrade my iPhone 7. Apple watch 2, or apple tv 4. they all work great and I don’t see any benefit to upgrading yet.

to be portable, it has to run on a computer with the need to install anything. if you have to change the computer in order to run the application, by definition it’s not portable
