penfed is tough to get into , Sallie Mae rewards MasterCard is 5% cash back on gas, groceries, and books. it's easier to get.

chase freedom is also 5% at Amazon Q4 , if you have that card.

I don't carry a balance month to month so interest rates are a moot point . I don't watch cable so that does not apply, either.

question - the title says "credit card" (singular) and the description says "best ones" ( plura) . So which is it? Best credit card or best credit cards?

I agree . If I had to pick one card, it would be this one. Not only do you get 2% back, but it's flexible in that you can use the money for investments or transfer it out as cash.

Or pay your reward card off in full every month to get reward money and never pay interest. This requires that you have enough financial discipline to not carry debt.

this is the best advice.pay cash for your car. It's a depreciating asset so why lose money in interest in top of that ? 2nd , borrowing money includes taking on risk on top of interest and depreciation , so the bad deal just got worse. Buy a car that meets your needs and that you can afford with money that you have

the lack of a desktop app is the a deal killer for for 2 reasons 1 - when I listen at home while doing tasks in different areas of the house,iTunes can play it to a speaker every room simultaneously using Airplay. So I never have to pause it when I leave a room.

idk either. I've always preferred it because the messaging app supported landscape mode while the Facebook app did not. I find it a lot easier to type in landscape orientation on my iPhone than in portrait mode.

this definitely an opinion article. There are belief systems where going to debt is a sin, so saying that it isn't evil is the same as telling them their religion is wrong. It's fine if you say that you don't believe they same as they do, but to just flat out tell them that they are wrong....well, pink stars and

if the SLA with the customer says that you'll deliver the service /product on a Monday or face a huge fine for missing it, I would hope that you would have it done on Monday.

they also use different versions of the FICO scoring model. If you google scoring models, you'll see how many there are.

I said do both...but use Crash plan or other service as your offsite backup. They are a lot cheaper than iCloud and can backup a larger variety of data as well.

it's interesting that the best time to start saving is when you are least likely to have money to spare. I remember my early years of barely being able to have money for gas to get to work. Later in life, you are more likely to have discretionary income that you can use for retirement savings.

all of these stores are overpriced , so a discount means you might score a retail price

I was one of those super fit people 2 years ago, then I moved for my job and there wasn't a gym anywhere close to me. I'm on a mission now to make the best of it my running when weather permits and sacrificing sleep to gain the time necessary to travel to the distant gym as often as I can.

it's pretty simple. It's better to save now instead of worrying about squeezing every last cent out of the stock market . The market tends to go up over the long term so even 5 year dpi isn't a big deal. You're as likely to lose money trying to time the market as you are to makes money, so it is best to diversify

sigh, I already have the lowest prices on all of my monthly expenses . I could try to negotiate with Comcast for Internet access but they have no competition in my area, therefore no incentive to deal.

what if the identity thief applies for credit and it pulls a report from equifax or experian? I think credit karma uses transunion so you can only credit pulls that show up on their report. What happens on other credit bureaus would not be detected.

Being single no kids very busy guy in a small apartment , my meals are high protein, low calorie, little to no prep, meals that I make in batches to save time. Usually the healthier an lower cost meals take a lot of time to make. I put together meals in minutes from food I batch cooked over the weekend.
