Well, why did you think it was scheduled for the dead zone of February?

I've been ghosted countless times. Once I was even ghosted by somebody I'd gone out on two dates with. It drives me bananas, but what can I do? I just try to move on. I'm sure many of these women have had bad experiences, so maybe that explains it. The woman who went out on two dates with me occasionally seemed…
Har har har, sure, but I meant any more than it already has. Plus I thought season 8 was a step in the right direction. There were a fair number of new-ish ideas there (by DW standards) and a hint towards an interesting new ongoing threat (the villainous voice pulling the strings in "Mummy"), among other things.
Moffat is not necessarily lying. We all jump to that conclusion right away, but she really COULD be a brand-new character. In fact, I think I'd prefer that to having Susan back, because Susan was an incredibly lame character. I mean, I like continuity, but I don't want the show's head to disappear up its own ass.
Would "Moths" actually be filmed in Tokyo? Are they ALSO offering big tax incentives for filming now?
Speaking of Radcliffe, Netflix keeps trying to push A Young Doctor's Notebook on me. Is it any good?
Person of Interest is great. The first 3 seasons are coming to Netflix (USA) this fall, so you'll be able to get started easily then (assuming you're U.S.-based). It seems like just an action procedural with a few sci-fi elements at first but then it evolves.
This seemed more like a poor production choice than a budgetary thing. When they did fight scenes or action scenes, the direction seemed sloppy and lackadaisical. The action was often very, very brief and clearly not well thought-out. There were some action scenes where, once they bothered to set it up, they could've…
"If I remember correctly, Texas law mandates that if a membership place like Costco or Sam's sells alcohol they have to sell to non-members."
For the past couple of weeks, I've been addicted to Sky Force 2014 (mobile). I'm not accustomed to playing shmups lately, much less ones that are this difficult, so it's pretty frustrating sometimes, but the levels are enjoyable no matter how many times they're played, which is good because it's very grindy. I'm up to…
I agree with Duffman about Daredevil.
The first few episodes aren't BAD, but I didn't think they were very funny. However, the early episodes immediately have interesting, engaging characters. I just didn't laugh out loud much like I did with the later episodes. Some would argue the show might be better categorized as a comedy-drama.
As usual, there are some huge snubs here, but hey — TATIANA MASLANY! Cool.
I'm no huge Blade Runner fan, but the original theatrical version isn't even remotely the same movie as any of the director's cuts. That idiotic, unnecessary narration that the studio forced Harrison Ford to do is the most grating, ridiculous crap imaginable and it almost nukes the entire movie all on its own.
In season 25 and 26, the writing mostly improved tremendously over the previous few seasons IMHO, and the special effects look pretty decent — but the direction and acting are sometimes REALLY wobbly, right? Seems like production was probably too rushed sometimes. There are plenty of scenes where it seems like they…
Yeah. Will Ferrell was the best part of "Spoils of Babylon" which was mostly too slow-moving for my tastes and pretty silly, but it's worth watching at least the beginning and ending of each episode for his hilarious bits as Eric Jonrosh, the "boozy, self-important has-been" writer of the whole thing. It's on Netflix…
Wouldn't it be funny if, like, six cannibals all started eating Daniel Tosh right now?
Those "boxes don't communicate back to the source" because people would go apeshit over the privacy issues involved. (Verizon tried to patent a cable box with an electronic eye in it, and even though they didn't even have a working prototype yet, a whole lot of people flipped the fuck out.) Also, advertisers VERY…
Doctor Who isn't rebooted, Señor Hughes. It's "revived" or "resurrected." Or you could just call it "modern Doctor Who." It's the same show that existed from 1963 to 1989. It's a continuation (though written so that you can jump right into S1 of the modern version without knowing anything about it). "Reboot" means…
There's no longer any such thing as a "miniseries" or "limited series," despite what the networks say. Even if it only consists of five or six or eight episodes, if it does well in the ratings, they'll find a way to renew it. And if it does poorly in the ratings, they'll lie through their damn teeth and say "well,…
