Hey, I love a Survivor season filled with hardcore strategy maniacs, but I also love Keith. The man is hilarious! He's a one-liner machine! A lot of other Survivor fans don't give him credit for being as INTENTIONALLY funny as he is. The show needs some comic relief. And NOT from pathetic unintentionally-funny

What's this hot new show "XYZ" that I'm just now hearing about? How did I miss out on this?

"…my guess is she takes a couple years mostly off, and then pops up as somebody's mom in a real coup for the CW's latest teen soap opera."

I so wish that Justified had stayed there! The pilot looked a lot more interesting than the rest of the show.

I've seen "cabler" many times. That might be one of those words made up by Variety. See also the bizarrely superfluous term "skein."

New Mexico, yes. North Carolina — no, that's over. NC legislators recently put a stop to all of the tax incentives for filming there. Sleepy Hollow is moving to Georgia, while Cinemax's Banshee is moving to *Pittsburgh*!

"Most television production still comes out of Los Angeles, and it shows…."

I still haven't seen Cook Islands either, and a few days ago, I was surprised to find that it's on Amazon Prime streaming! I don't even have to pirate it! Wow. Now they just need to get Pearl Islands up on there too, because I haven't seen that either.

In the past, that was true. For the past few years, I've been delighted to find that shows have been moving elsewhere, sometimes to NYC even if they're not set there (The Americans uses NYC to stand in for Washington D.C.) or to Louisiana or Georgia, other places with strong tax incentives, or occasionally New Mexico

OK, so this show was already filmed in L.A. anyway. So I shouldn't be too bothered that, as this article says in its headline, it's "moving to Los Angeles for season two" — it will actually still be in the same place. But has anybody else noticed that virtually EVERY new show in the upfronts is L.A. this, L.A. that,

I'm a fan of Gjokaj because he was great on Dollhouse. On Agent Carter, the writers saddled him with a dull character who didn't get much to do, so I won't object much if they write him out.

Undying love, ha ha! They just haven't thought of anything better yet… that's VOLUNTARY. The idea for an app somehow tied to a smart TV or streaming device is not a bad one. But it has to be all-voluntary. Nielsen can tell what's happening because it's a voluntary diary system. Is that accurate? Maybe not, but it's

Ha ha, "I just assumed the whole thing was on a backlot in California." I only watched an episode and a half but I could tell from the flora that it was somewhere else.

Relative to its other comedies and especially relative to how its comedies USUALLY perform on Sundays at 7:30 ET/PT, Bob's is doing fairly well. Also the cable rerun ratings (once a week on Adult Swim, I think?) are really solid, so I imagine it's already starting to bring Fox some of those dump trucks full of

He's going to be in another show, too! And the other one is filmed in the UK. I can't figure out how THAT is going to work. It's an apocalypse comedy so I can only speculate that they'll kill him off a few episodes in — he'll turn into a comedy zombie or something maybe?

To bring these two conflicting impulses together: Another News Corp. property, the sleazy New York Post, sometimes improbably manages to embody BOTH of these inclinations at the SAME TIME!

Empire became a gigantic hit a little too late for Fox to order a bunch of similar pilots. We'll surely see Empire knock-offs later in 2016 though.

The show is on Youtube!

Agreed! Such an uneven show! Would've been a perfect candidate for 13-a-year. Just like Revenge! Well, uh, sort of. But anyway, yes, network scheduling kinda fucked up a promising show again.

I like how they've streamlined it over the past couple of years. But, hmm, they might need to change this some more next season… (*spoilers* if you haven't caught up to the end of season 4 which just aired a few days ago):
