I'd say this episode was not too difficult to understand on its own, and a pretty good indication of what the show is currently like as a whole. (The commenter Five Six Seven seems to have done OK jumping back into the show at this point, though he/she has seen it before… a loooong time ago.) As long as you know that

Not since McCoy?!? Wow, welcome back. (Also the START of the McCoy era? Ugh, those were terrible. I can see why you dropped out there. McCoy's episodes got MUCH better after his first season, though there were still a lot of production problems and wobbly direction.)

The only part of this show description I liked was "natural, and not waify." I don't suppose this is something found in any other upcoming new TV projects? Of course, in Hollywood, that probably just means size 2 rather than size 0 or size -1.

"PB, you can’t teach a butterfly to bark."

Hello to mainland China! I'm glad to see somebody besides the 50 Cent Party posting a comment on a U.S. site from there.

I care not for Supernatural, but if they put some strong female characters in the lead of a spin-off, I'll give it a try.

The show has been described as an "anthology" in various media reports including the IMDB TV blog and Broadway dot com, suggesting it's in the mode of True Detective or American Horror Story — the first story is presumably eight episodes and out, with a new story and perhaps new characters next year. Given the

Heh, yeah, well, I'm not into kissing zombies either. Tina Belcher FTW, though.

Just butts, I think, like other basic cable. I think. I only watched the pilot and now I forget if there were butts. I'm pretty sure there were. You'd think I'd remember, but see, I'm more of a boob guy, so my brain doesn't really store too many butt sightings unless they're amazingly fabulous butts.

That's nowhere near as bad as how they aired "Mystery Dungeon" and "Little Dude" before "Bad Little Boy." The end of "BLB" is clearly leading to the events of "Mystery Dungeon," then you see that thing with Master Shake's voice take off at the end of "MD" and it drives the plot of "LD." That's the worst CN airing

What did we learn on the show tonight, Craig? THAT YOU'RE LEAVING. Bummer. But from the few episodes I've caught lately, I could tell he was ready to check out. He seems less engaged and even more wacked-out than usual. Maybe he'll just let Secretariat run an episode at some point.

In a few of the episodes, yes, Steven drives me up the wall by getting everybody in danger and not getting yelled at. But in many other episodes, like this one, he's fine, and the show is gorgeous and endearing. I figure the show is still trying to find the right balance. I really liked this one.

Same here, pretty much. Well, I have a cat. But I figured the IRS wouldn't let me count her as a dependent. Even though she's extremely dependent. Neediest feline ever. But yeah, makes for fast taxes esp. if you go through the Beehive site for free tax prep from H&R.

Which ones are gems?

Haven't you heard that Person of Interest is a surprisingly well-made sci-fi drama disguised as a CBS crime procedural? Seriously, if you like sci-fi, despite some mundane villain-of-the-week episodes to pad it out, this is a really solid show with lots of awesome actors and an ongoing storyline about a nascent AI,

Wait, are you the Cancellation Bear, or just a standard #1 Threat bear that Colbert rails against? And if the latter, shouldn't you be threatening Colbert?

I know, right? That's a surprisingly funny show that would do well at 11:30 but it's locked into place by its name!! Who the hell screwed the gooch on THAT one with that title?! I wonder if they also have the rights to "@ 11:30" just in case? Doesn't have the same ring to it, though.

Agreed on Sam Bee, she's my least-favorite correspondent and has all the subtlety of a Buick-sized hammer to the cranium. Doesn't she still have a sitcom development deal with CBS or something? That might be a good thing if it's still the case, as it would keep her out of that Colbert spot that she isn't a match for.

Articles ripping on Comcast should be a regular feature here. I still enjoy articles ripping them for their incredible idiocy even though I don't even have to suffer with Comcast anymore as I live in a Cablevision and FiOS area. The downside: it's Newark NJ. But Comcast sucks rancid donkey smegma so much that if you

So, I'm way behind on this show. The last five episodes have stacked up on my DVR. I take it from this F grade that perhaps I shouldn't bother continuing to watch this show? What say you? Should I just delete this shit and finally watch Rectify instead?
