Louisiana? Really? Does that mean this is actually filmed in Louisiana? Beyond the pilot? I thought all CW shows, and most sci-fi shows, were obligated somehow to film in Canada. Or are they passing off Toronto as Louisiana? Toronto can look sort of like a lot of places, probably, I guess… but Louisiana isn't one of

The show is mostly NOT worth watching after season 4 or so. It was never much good with story arcs and it just gets worse. The fun was in the stand-alone episodes, but those get extremely repetitive, and they run out of the fun better-than-MacGyver-esque spy tricks from the early episodes.

It's not a popular opinion around here, but I'm with Hesitationstation. I liked BtVS and Angel a lot, but Supernatural just doesn't do it for me. I can't quite put my finger on it but I've watched several of the most acclaimed episodes and… eh. Maybe if the leads were bad-ass women instead of men, I'd be more inclined

I love Adventure Time, but there's plenty of time between 7 and 8 p.m. for that and RS. If they try to start a whole separate network from scratch, everyone's cable bills would go up a little, and not all of us would necessarily get it in HD. Heck, we only just got the HD version of Cartoon Network from Verizon FiOS a

That's the best script of his era, according to most. It's not very well-directed, though.

Based on the novelization, Mission to Magnus was absolute garbage. Maybe it was based on an early draft. Or so one would hope.

"…nobody in their right mind is going to defend 'Time And The Rani'…."

This was often a problem with companions — such as Adric, who was occasionally tolerable when paired with the fourth Doctor, but awful with the fifth. Many of us would say Rose, too, was better with Eccleston's Doctor than with Tennant's.

True, but my point was that it's already over the basic hump and that 100 is not a bare minimum, that's all.

What's this about 100 episodes? That's not a thing, and maybe was apocryphal in the first place. The show is already in syndication.

I agree, this one was a dud. Too similar to too many other heist episodes of too many other shows. I don't mind some case-of-the-week episodes (and this is CBS so we're NEVER going to get rid of these stand-alone episodes) but this one was underwhelming.

Epguides shows the next one on the 18th, and another one on the 25th. Is that incorrect?

I'd say this episode was surprisingly solid, the best they've done so far, and the most well-directed, but not as good as most episodes of Person of Interest or Justified. Certainly not nearly as good as last night's Justified. Possibly heresy: I enjoyed it more than last night's Person of Interest (but that one was a

Tasha Yar's death didn't make ST:TNG's writing better. Better writing made ST:TNG's writing better.

Nah, if there are 22 episodes, that would only get them through April 29. Presumably they want to schedule the finale for May 13 or May 20, so that would mean two or three more in-season reruns or pre-emptions.

Agreed, they were still Michael Bay-ing it up in this episode. Not good.

Although I agree that Arrow is the superior show, especially in terms of fight choreography, let's not be ridiculous. Shooting a show in Vancouver doesn't save THAT much money. Arrow is clearly not a cheap show to produce. Someone here claimed that the budgets for the two shows are pretty similar, and I can believe

Oops, my mistake.

"…the networks would typically be gearing up for February sweeps, but the Winter Olympics start tomorrow, so they’re also preparing to take a couple of weeks off."

Counterintuitively, I suspect we're being punished for R&M's ratings success. It's doing so well that I imagine CNAdult Swim wants to bank the episodes and drag out the season for as long as possible. Intra-season reruns probably get higher ratings than off-season reruns. Very big-four broadcast network kind of
