I Keep Forgetting My Key

I would like to see some comparison numbers to contextualize this. What do veteran starting RBs actually do for a 40 yard dash? Do Pro Bowl running backs continue to be able to run sub-4.6 throughout their careers? If not, these numbers don't mean much.

This is puzzling to me. I cop to doing this sometimes, mostly in regards to relationship-related problems, but it's mostly due to the insistence of female friends that, when so-and-so says she feels such-and-such, and now I never know what the right thing to do is.

My sample size is a bit biased, but I know way more people who've gotten concussions playing soccer than football. And because substitutions are precious commodities, soccer teams are much more likely to keep a potentially concussed in unless he's really unable to play, seriously risking aggravation.

I have rather mixed feelings about this penchant for Tyler Perry bashing. On the one hand, most of his movies are, in fact, objectively terrible and unsubtly preachy. On the other hand, he is probably the most successful independent filmmaker of our era, possibly of all time. While I don't particularly care for the

It's not about the sweatpants. It's about what the sweatpants represent.

I keep hoping that I'm not the only pathetic neckbeard out there that doesn't blame the rest of the world for his failings, and that most of us are pretty reasonable if disappointing people, but the Internet keeps proving me wrong.

I think the point is that men should maybe consider why they need to have an opinion on this at all. If the women of the world convene a feminist synod to answer this question, fail to reach a conclusion, and apply to a man to settle the debate once and for all, then maybe trying to decide what's right is

I think pretty much every English player wishes on some level he was playing in League 1 or 2, where everything is more rough-and-tumble and nobody cares about you enough for there to be a scandal if you fight, cheat on your spouse, or get publicly intoxicated - even if it's while you're supposed to be playing.

I think the NBA is actually kind of sad. There really isn't enough talent (not to mention fans) to fill 30 pro-quality teams, so - tanking or not - there are too many teams that just don't have access to the talent they need to be competitive.

If an undetected asteroid fell from space and flattened FIFA headquarters while all its employees were at a meeting, how big would the celebrations be?

Short-ishanswer: there's a lot of money flying around but most of it goes to exorbitant* player salaries and transfer fees, so they don't mean there's much of a buffer when it comes to covering losses due to mismanagement (or embezzlement).

Last I checked, making the playoffs in the Kelly era also means being better than the Cowboys and this time, the Cowboys went to the playoffs. It remains to be seen if Chip can pull together a better team after the draft, but at this moment, I don't see them beating the Giants. Taking the entire first round of draft

I think it's mostly because men (at least, those who aren't survivors themselves) have a hard time understanding how that could be the case.

The real problem is that the people conducting the interviewers aren't always bright enough to ask questions beyond "Who are you wearing" and "How does it feel to be nominated". I don't like red carpet shows or Slavoj Zizek but I would watch him interviewing Oscar guests all night long.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing that porn sites have to keep exhaustive records in perpetuity demonstrating that everyone appearing naked was over 18 at the time and consented to be on the Internet but sites like Twitter can just ignore that. There should be a little checkbox "I accept responsibility for this post and agree

It's like Lost - no one has any idea what's actually going on, so they love to speculate. By contrast everyone knows what's going on with the Jets so there's not much to say.

I'd rather see stuff like this than a decade of Reid-McNaab Eagles.

That's why this is a good strategy for them. They don't need these guys to beat the Titans and win the division. They need them to beat other AFC playoff teams at the end of the season. If they're smart they keep these guys on the bench as much as possible and then unleash them during the playoffs.

I think that whether or not going for it in the short term actually seems like a good bet has at least as much to do with what you think is going to happen in your division and conference in the next year or two as it does with internal team dynamics. In this case, the AFC South is the second-worst division in
