Great, but part of the point is that the renter needs to be able to hook and unhook the attachment by themselves without the need of a crane, and you just can’t do that with a roof-mounted battery that probably weighs several hundred pounds..

My dad had a VW Beetle fixation back in the 70's/80's and the last VW he had was one of these with the semi-auto stick.. This eventually became my first car... It died for some reason which I can’t recall and we took it apart but never really got around to putting it back together again and the last I remember of that…
Freddy will buy it.. Forget the Ferrari, I want to see this thing completed!
Neither does Sir Terry, apparently.. Despite the clickbaitish implication of the title, the story says that all he actually did was to dig up the ore (if that’s to be believed- more likely, he had a lackey do that for him as well if you go by the rest of the story).. He then had a “friend” do the actual smelting, then…
Works great until the screw backs out and you lose every single one of your keys.. Nothing wrong with the traditional split keyring..

Because males could get “distracted”, females have to “cover up”?? As a man, I find this way of thinking completely idiotic.. At the risk of getting flamed into oblivion, in my mind, this is probably how the tradition of the hijab/niqab got started: some “man” couldn’t keep it in his pants and blamed it on women,…

It’s all those stupid slotted nuts.. The ball joint itself is probably fine, but if you simply take a plain old nut and cut a bunch of slots (weak points, just like perforations in paper towels), that’s exactly where it’s going to break.. If you buy the ball joint, throw away the crappy nut and reuse the factory nut.
For short term temporary storage (ie, half-a-day or so), those insulated grocery bags do work very well and have more than enough room for a big laptop, etc..
I think the distinction is that SA “made their own”; Many countries have had nukes (provided by others) and have given them up: Canada was the very first nation to do this- we had US-provided nukes in many weapons and chose to give them up.
I grew up in a deeply “Christian” household; I went to church, did all the expected “Christian” stuff, and for the longest time, I called myself a “Christian”. Today, if I had to check a box on a survey, the closest thing would be “Atheist”, which is true: I no longer believe in a “God” that needs/wants/deserves to be…
He needs to remove those seatbelts too- belts with intact pretensioners are worth $$$
I witnessed the aftermath of a motorcycle crash about 18 years ago- was out early Sunday morning and this bozo on a crotch-rocket blows by doing about 120 klicks on a 60 road, and weaving through the light weekend morning traffic.
Has nobody made a pun about Jason “The Firebug” *Torch*insky’s name yet??
Big problem with 99% of LED retrofits is that the LED emitting area is either not aligned with where the filament would be on a “real” bulb, and/or, the emitting area (for multi-chip versions) is much bigger than the filament of a “real” bulb.. The problem that occurs is that essentially, instead of a “point source”…
Ottawa bicyclists are notorious for being entitled assholes who think all cars are evil and anyone who does not bike are spawn of satan... While the driver was definitely guilty and deserving of the book being thrown at her, I’d also vote to subject the biker to a punitive dooring..
Why Siberian wood? </cynicalmode on> Why not something local from the rainforest that they’re cutting down anyways? </cynicalmode off>.
Hilarious- he actually thought shifting into reverse would actually do something, and the wiper blades going, as if you can just wipe the water away and it will be OK, was simply the icing on the cake..
