That, and Timothy Dalton was probably busy.

Seconded. Watching TEOT between the two broadcasts of the special really… well, let's just say it was the opposite of a palette cleanser for me. I had forgotten just how mostly bad that episode was.

Funny, one of the things I haven't liked about it since 7a is how the companions all go home to their normal lives at the end of each episode. Rory and Amy had normal lives outside of the doctor, and clara and he only go out on, what, Wednesdays?

Fair enough. Nobody likes having their intelligence insulted.

And besides, we already know that the daleks didn't wipe themselves out, so… no harm no genocide.

They might have been light years. they're much lower in calories, you barely know you're living them.

what's wrong with four seconds? you can do loads in four seconds.

the melkur sets a pretty clear precedent that TARDISes can indeed be ambulatory and humanoid.

I did too.

I feel the same way.

- the TARDIS really doesn't like Clara. not only did it rebuff her in this episode, but if you go back and re-watch the snowmen, it does the same thing when she first climbs the staircase.
