That was a pretty harsh response to a guy asking for an everyman car. In case you didn’t know, a lot of people drive everyman cars. That’s not specific. That’s the definition of widespread.

That space cushion trucks leave is so they don’t have to slow down abruptly. That lack of slowing down abruptly keeps a chain reaction of brakes behind him from happening. That chain reaction always snowballs into a line of stopped cars, and all that can be avoided by one driver leaving a big enough buffer in front.

It’s amazing how these things happen (I’ve seen similar where somebody clearly was 100% in the wrong and they flip out on you) but sometimes a switch flips in people and they just lose all capacity for rational thought. They just flip the fuck out. As a former angry teen, I know how that can be.

Exactly. I had a friend go through two sets of allegedly model-specific coil overs for his Mustang and they both rode and handled like shit. At that point an angle grinder and a new set of Gabriels would have been far better.

In this case “utmost care” could have literally some wood to cut down the angle. That’s all they’d need to keep that thing from scraping. How the hell does an exotic car mover not have wood? If I did that job I’d have wood all the time.
