Thanks for articulating this so well.

I’m gonna have to do this again?

I wrote a comment about how unattainable this is for most people, and so far I’ve gotten two replies telling me how this specific person with his own Youtube channel probably paid for it.

So all his son had to do was come up with an amount of samoleans that most people have never possessed simultaneously in their entire life.

They may be a dime a dozen, but those dimes cost about $20,000.

Not that we should be wading any deeper into this absurd tangent, but clearly there’s a massively wide range of pellet guns.

You just said that in reply to a single comment in a tangential thread about a robbery, on the internet, if that tells you anything about your priorities here.

How so? They’re all powered by air, roughly 5-8mm diameter and sting when you get shot by them. I get the funtime pedantic angle with specific names and shapes and compositions of the flying tiny things, but on balance they’re basically the same thing.

That’s a really solid point. Counterpoint: Any system that chooses Donald Trump is broken.

Dude referred to the scenes I fell asleep in at the theater as “Shakespearean space politics, enticingly florid dialogue”

That’s the crazy part. This car falls into the weird price range of a BMW that doesn’t exist, optioned up to the price of a more expensive BMW that already does.

You watch. In 10 years people are going to be falling all over themselves to give Baur’s designers a 45 year overdue handjob for that reconstructed bear-fell-out-of-a-plane-onto-the-roof accident victim.

Either way, planes suck ass, even in first class. Why the hell do people rush to the gate and stand in line to cram themselves into a metal tube half an hour before takeoff? I fly a lot and it’s rare they run out of overhead space to the point where checking bags is mandatory.

I apologize if I gave you the impression that someone in the market for a 15 year old base model Porsche was actually incredibly rich.

And keeping in mind that British MOT inspections are insane compared to the US, I’d guess the “necessary” repairs he did were about twice as expensive as what would be necessary in a state with strict inspection laws here.

See this is based off the assumption that because I’m saying he’s in the wrong, that means someone else wasn’t. That’s simple minded for two reasons.

He was acting as professional as he could be for having zero customer relations skills and simple-mindedly repeating a safety rule that clearly wasn’t working, in real time, all around him.
