You’re leaving out half the forces involved there, unless you’re substituting in pedantry as the opposing force.

Kinda doing the Howmet a disservice there not mentioning at all that it’s a turbine powered car, one of very few in racing history.

Not so sure this is the time to be using the ol’ “i” word.

“This High School Softball Catcher is the Goddamn Devil”

Yeah how this isn’t a 100% CP just blows my mind. Even with an LS1 swap this thing wouldn’t get $5,850, because Tiger Woods’ Buick Rendezvous was the lie that taught us the Dark Knight isn’t hiding out in a 125,000-mile cute ute that predates Batsuit-nipples but somehow stole those nipples’ sense of taste.

“EDIT: What Mazda 2.5 has 300 hp?”

Pluses:

Yeah it’s a shame the straights weren’t longer. From the acceleration curve, it sure took a while to pick up speed out of corners, but you get the impression it could basically accelerate indefinitely.

“Don’t worry, as long as the car doesn’t attain 1/4 a degree of angle of attack, it won’t fly 20 feet into the air instantly.”

“Still an idiot.”

No it wasn’t, unless you misinterpreted my response.

Yeah those things ran forever and tended to be luxurious as hell. You can’t go wrong with a velour interior. That stuff is just ridiculously soft.

So during a period when the BMW E28 and E34 5 series were among the most reliable luxury cars of all time (I’ve owned a few myself) and were considered the quality and performance benchmark of the class, Acura released a less luxurious, slower, FWD version of a BMW 5 series, and they named it the “Legend.”

Yeah, instead we have cars from BMW, Infiniti and Mercedes whose names don’t even apply mathematically, as if numbers could be artistically interpreted.

Do I literally have to tell you this comes from personal experience? It’s satire, man. I didn’t know “Nissan drivers are careless assholes” required empirical data.

And that 120mpg is a pipe dream if you’re within 10-20% of top speed. On my Suzuki GZ250 that 72mpg I’ve gotten out of sensibly ridden tanks drops to more like 50-55mpg if you’re riding with the flow of traffic on a freeway.
