While many BMW buyers still like sports sedans, others want an SUV. We created the X6 to piss them all off. — a design pitch that somehow lead to a production vehicle.

Or...hear me out! 195hp, FWD, raised up a little add some extra doors and because Nissan is fancy like that throw in an awesome CVT!!!

Meanwhile, in the Jalopnik comments section:

I don’t think he’s a charlatan, or that the company will collapse. I do think he’s a blowhard and that the company is overvalued, but that’s different. There’s definitely a real company there, but there’s a lot of bullshit as well.

No man, you see the invisible hand of the free market has a way of shutting down legitimate sex offenders

“We investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing”

Bethesda? Making something that works well, before a years worth of updates? Oh you sweet summer child...

If there were so little reason for the Xbox to exist, there wouldn’t be millions of Xboxes in the world. People really need to let the “just build a gaming PC” take die, it just makes you look myopic.

I blame the fast and furious movies. People wouldn’t have to pay $100k on bringatrailer for an unmolested RX7 if it weren’t for those god damn movies.

Supercharger and a turbo? Sold!

holy shit what is that thing

I’ve said this before but it is worth repeating: No good officer looks for an arrest unless a crime has been committed. For 17 years, I made arrest when I had to (warrant or OFA), the person was a danger to the community, or a crime was committed.  Why?  Because an arrest takes time.  You can blow half your shift

I beg to differ.

If I had room for a classic Saab in the garage, I’d be writing him a check right now.

Yeah but can I drive it from my house in Cheyenne, Wyoming to my job in Huntsville, Alabama without spending more than 3 minutes stationary and outside the car at any point? Checkmate liberals.

Probably for the last 20 yrs I have had this crazy half-baked idea of a movie involving hard partying Group B Rally drivers.  It would be original at least.

I had the exact same thought. While I think that is exactly where this is going, it might be too big a leap for regulators and consumers right now.

Rant alert: Great idea, extremely bungled execution. They gave us the exact same flawed views we have now complete with blind spots. Plus it looks like someone just duct-taped little monitors onto the interior doors.

Generally I’m with you, but I would say the laws encouraged SUVs rather than allowed them. If you present a business with a more profitable option, they would be morons not to take it. If we had approached this by making fuel more expensive, rather than trying to legislate outcomes, people would have been incentivized
