I stand corrected

I’m pretty sure these are really a direct response to incidents like Operation Redwings - you need some sort of QRF/pararescue force on the ground, in the fight ASAP. To drop close enough to provide immediate assistance, you’ll be in range of the enemy and at a high risk of losing many of those additional units. But

huh.  Thought it was more a 90s thing.

Maybe they could just hire paid staff like most places instead?

Everyone acts like this from time to time.

The whole “no electronic devices an hour before landing” thing gave it away.

You don’t travel that much do you?

They’re the hipsters of the car world, denigrating something for no other reason than it’s popular.

That reminds me of an old Lewis Black bit about that same flight: “It’s 22 hours by plane from Minnesota. So, you drink liquor liquor liquor, beer beer beer, watch two movies...and there’s still 16 hours to fucking go!”

Hey, remember that we’re in the United States, and we can call him a fat, orange, demented piece of shit who doesn’t actually represent this country’s actual values because we don’t live under a dictatorship.

That’s what we’re here to find out

Can I throw a bunch of random parts in a car get 7K for it?

Yeah, like giving a bear hepatitis and putting it in someone’s shoe. Now THAT’s comedy!

I occasionally have to tow the race car. This is a costly nuisance, both in fuel and rental costs (as I don’t currently own a tow-pig).

But that never happened because, according to Aaron, rallying is prohibitively expensive.

ESCALADE-V

Is there a LeMons for 2 wheelers?

“Florida man does something fun, legal, for a change”

4x4 is a shiftable system that uses a transfer case to have 2 or more speeds. There may be different degrees of “locked” in the transfer case. You may have any combination of 2wd high, 2wd low, 4x4 full time high range, 4x4 part time high range, and you always have a 4x4 low range

Would prefer they kill off the damn foot operated parking/emergency brakes instead, my ankle can’t always articulate that way.
