Well that one does have a hint of truth to it. And plausibility. The idea of the 100mpg carb was to preheat the fuel and basically run the engine on fumes causing the fuel to burn more thoroughly and not take as much as liquid gasoline just sprayed through the carb to ignite. Saving fuel. Did it get 100MPG. I doubt…
