Those really do look good in brown and surprisingly they look good in brown with the orange stripes.

Yes I am the guy. I wasnt originally going to pick brown but they offered it. I would rather have Pullman Brown but we cant be picky, and I cant have a custom paint job and stay in budget.

Btw there are alot of people who obviously did not read what he asked. You can only have two cars and both of them have to total 300K. The Rivan I priced out was 103K and the Panamera priced out was 197K.

I would get a Rivan R1T fully loaded with the Max battery pack.

or an audi TT

European Teslas come from the factory with CCS plugs dictated by EU law.

They are renting a 3000 sqft Studio apartment.

Dont anger the, “I drive 500 miles a day for work and drive 17 hours one way every weekend towing my 60ft 5th wheel, 4 horse trailer, 30ft cabin cruiser, and two goldwings on a trailer at the same time to relax.” crowd.

But Lexus isnt doing that. They arent running two batteries. What happens when they are driving down the road and the tractor trailer loses and tread, it flies under the car and severs the battery connecter of an EV. Or it flies under the hood and severs the electrical connection to the actuator of the the steering

Were you aware that Lexus completely decoupled the steering assembly from the steering rack mechanically? And Infinity didnt? There is no physical connection between the steering yoke and the steering rack on this lexus system. It is fully electrical. In the event the vehicle loses its electrical power and it cant

Ok lets look at a scenario. You are driving down the interstate and your alternator is goes bad and is not producing enough electricity to keep your car running and your car shuts off. You no longer have any steering and you are traveling 70+mph coasting to a stop on an interstate highway. What redundancy covers that.

Yes I know what steering by wire is. Like others in this thread have mentioned Infinity has had a steering by wire system for almost a decade now. But the difference is that the Infinity system has a direct mechanical linkage in its system that has a clutch which will disengage if something is wrong with electrical

They are saying that a there will be a steering processing unit that takes input from the wheel and sends an electrical signal to an actuator motor on the steering rack that will manipulate the wheels to change angles. But unlike infinit, if there is a fray in the cable or they drive through a puddle and it shorts out

Infiniti has physical linkage between the rack and the steering wheel.

4th gear. Nope I do not want someone driving on the road or parking near me with drive by wire as the only option to control the vehicle. Not one that must be serviced and maintained at their attention and responsibility.

Honestly I thought that they mixed up a picture on the article.

Whatever engine is in the rental I am taking to track day.

That is why I said But I refinanced to get it down to that amount. I know most people dont have a 3 figure house payment.

No I refinanced. I had previously bought the house and I refinanced it to lower my interest rate and put 30K down on the principal.

This time last year. My payment was cut in half. basically. I was paying around 1800 a month for my not so I refinanced and put every other months 800 dollars against the principal.
