No coincidence this game fell off a cliff when Jeff was no longer doing these:

Making new heroes free is a good change, but locking new heroes behind a paywall should have never been implemented to begin with.

I have been against OW2 from go and this is a very good change for the game. hopefully we see more improvements (return of 6 v 6 and 2cp)

Oh good, so not only did they learn the opposite of what Suicide Squad’s failure should have taught them, they’ve also decided to only milk four franchises from now on.

I’m sorry, but what? Look, I play on graphics mode because I prefer the visual bump over framerate for a game like this too, but it’s absurd to claim there’s no visual difference between 30 and 60fps. It’s very noticeable, not just in terms of how smooth it is, but in frame timing and latency.

Aerith and Yuffie are underrated in Remake. Aerith Is a demon with the right materia. Yuffie is just really fun to control. Tifa is incredible too. The one I struggled with most was Barrett. 

Dang, Remake was amazing to me. Just seeing all the characters and environments re-imagined in high-res graphics was worth it. Yeah, the story got a little weird near the end, but I found the game really fun.

to be fair, the third disc was only the final battle, so it’s mostly just one disc worth.

Question to the commentariat: does anyone like the interactions which force you to hold triangle instead of just pressing it, or waiting for thirty seconds while Cloud sloooowly inches through a tight gap in the level?

I’m not going to play the game, so I don’t care about the reasoning why, but was Mr. Freeze ever in the Suicide Squad?

No one can keep going forever, but I do find the Grand Tour, Clarkson’s Farm, and James May’s “Our Man In...” series by far the only watchable programming on Prime. They should throw more money at them to make content because Prime’s other shows and movies aren’t worthy of Hallmark-channel’s discount bin.

They’re showing way too much of this game and I’m not sure why. They did the same thing with 16. Who else do they need to sell it to? They’re blowing a couple hundred mil on another marketing blitz for a game that is going to get free coverage all year but shot Octopath 2 and Star Ocean 2 into the ether. 

the twin packs costing the same as just rebirth is an odd choice but I guess makes sense given the deep sale prices they’ve done in the past, and makes it easier to pull in new customers.
