Without taking anything away from this poor child and her family, I have to say that as the mother of two young girls and the stepmother of a teenage girl, none of my 15-year-olds were or will be allowed to date at all, much less date a 19-year-old man.

I thought the exact same thing.

Is he supposed to be Zom-beelushi?

YESYESYES. I'd promote this double if I could.

For those of you who had great years, good for you! And I mean that, genuinely and sincerely; that's wonderful, and you all deserve it.

She wasn't just on Celebrity Rehab, either, she was on some home makeover show forcing her fiance and his sister to redecorate their childhood home.

Whitney Houston's was a pretty big deal, if I recall.

I wish I could say this is surprising, but it isn't. British lad mags are truly vile. When we first moved here I grabbed a copy of Maxim from the grocery store, because I used to really like reading Maxim in the States and got my husband a subscription we could share (yes, it had its sexist moments, but a surprising

My eyes always crinkle when I smile, genuine or not, but I think it's because I'm old now.

Yeah, but he was exerting himself and talking! And there's still that whole space-is-a-vacuum-you-would-explode thing, that I don't know Time Lords are immune from.

I was surprised by how much I liked that movie; I expected essentially nothing but really had a ton of fun watching it. I agree it's really been wrongfully ignored.

Yeah, the whole male-fantasy-let's-have-cheap-sex-look-at-my-bra thing is pretty bad.

Oh, Jesus. It was a joke line from a movie. I wasn't trying to be a "sort of 'smart-ass' if you will." I was referencing a movie, not being sarcastic. Don't blame me if you're not familiar with it, or are so overly sensitive that you can't just tell the difference.

I agree. I love Sweeney Todd, but the images I've seen of Dark Shadows just look ridiculous.

Huh? George R.R. Martin and his editors are (rightfully) given credit, but his agent (who happens to also be my agent, Chris Lotts at The Lotts Agency) isn't? His agent who was also with Vicinanza, and who also took over or already had many high-profile clients, including Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, Robin Hobb,

Yeah, I don't get the idea that a girl that age can't have opinions of her own or express them. I certainly did. My two daughters certainly do. Since when do we doubt little girls can think for themselves? Since when is it okay to openly assume little girls can't and don't?

That is an awesome story, what a great kid!

Thank you.
