He stole some of her tips from her tip jar, too?!?!?

Ugh, I hate "partner." It's not a corporate merger, it's two human beings in a committed relationship. And now it gives a weird are-they-aren't-they sort of vibe to so many small businesses.

Eep, me too! *superstitious shiver*

Hahahaha! I had the same thought!

Buy a little tub of unscented lotion, and mix some of the perfume with it. Then you can just use the lotion. :-)

...it smells good on me... :-(

I want you to come stand near me. I love when men wear scents like that.

Me too.

Incidentally...have we met? Do you live in Berkeley?

I wear Pure Vanilla! I have a couple of those little roll-ons they do and keep them all over: my purse, my car, my make-up trunk...

Yes!! Before I saw your comment I posted about the time an ex bought me Wings by Giorgio; waaay to musky/heavy for me. It made my throat itch to wear it but he thought it was so pretty blah blah blah and it was just like, "Hey...have you not noticed after our six months together that I never wear anything like this at

Ditto this. A lot of the classic perfumes are classic for a reason.

Have you ever tried Givenchy Pi? It's a men's cologne—I looooove it—but has that semi-androgynous thing too, at least for me, because it's got such a strong vanilla note to it.

Writing those down, thanks!

I had a boyfriend once who bought me a bottle of perfume for my birthday; Wings by Giorgio. I HATED it. It was so heavy on me, and it made my throat itch, but he loved it so I always had to wear it for him (I didn't wear it every time we were together or anything, it wasn't a control thing, just when we were doing

I LOVE bay rum. My husband wears it now; he has a few different ones, but the best one was by Burt's Bees (they unfortunately stopped making it a few years back). Never had the guts to wear it myself, but I used to occasionally wear Aramis, and got complimented on it a lot by people who had no idea it was Aramis they

Well, I guess that's one way to handle the cost of giving birth...make strangers pay for it.
