Sorry? I know this wasn't aimed directly at me, but "getting a bee in one's bonnet over teenagers having sex is pretty silly?"

Apparently anyone who prefers their kids abstain from sex until they're a bit older is an evil fundamentalist wacko, and it's not possible for reasonable people to think sex is something teenagers should wait to have.
I don't understand this comment.
Yes, this. I get that a difficult situation was made more difficult, but no one told her she was too fat for an abortion. They told her that her weight made general anesthesia too risky for one doctor to feel comfortable with. Sorry, but the doctor has a right to make that decision, and really, what would happen if…
Oh, absolutely. People should be careful what they say. But honestly, I don't blame people who end up posting rather innocuous stuff about coffee, because posting a real opinion can get you dropped into a world of shit just because somebody happened to see it and decided to make an issue of it. (I tweeted a very mild…
My ex-boyfriend and I were standing in line at this outdoor BBQ stand once, in kind of a bad part of town. And this guy came up to us and said "Hey, since you're the only white people here, will you watch my car? You know, cause all these blacks around make me nervous, they'll try to steal it or something."
"Extra blacks?" Extra? Like, we only ordered a dozen but they threw in a few more as a gift?
Ugh. I know what you mean. I hear the "She shouldn't have put it out there in public if she didn't want people to read & respond" thing, which irks me because yeah, she tweeted it...to her followers, who are presumably people who might be interested. It annoys me when I see non-followers of this person or that…
Agreeing with the others; IANAL, but for one of my jobs I had to study quite a bit of employment law. It depends what state you're in, too, but a lot of them have that "probationary" employment where they can fire you for no reason at all.
It's like that in FL, too. Salaried employees aren't eligible for overtime pay or holiday pay.
Yep. Seeems to me—and I didn't click through—that "racial discrimination" is what's happened (allegedly), not racial profiling.
My thoughts exactly. Works for me.
Lol, I actually made a point to mention in the fourth book of my series that the hero didn't particularly care for the heroine's waxing habits and found the totally-hairless thing kind of weird, so she happily gave it up.
Oh, and I agree that vegetarian doesn't automatically=fat anymore than carnivore/omnivore automatically=fat. I just disagree with PETA's claim that ALL vegetarians are slim and gorgeous, and ALL meat-eaters are fat.
Yeah, gotta love the fat-shaming/women are only worthwhile if they're hot & hairless crap.
Oh, right, hahahahaha! Because Pamela Anderson is a poor dumb animal because she has big boobs and stuff! HAHAHAHA! I get it!
Yep. That's right, ladies! If you dare to not have a completely hairless bikini line, you're dirty and unattractive. PETA says so, and they are not at all sexist in doing so.
I know "vole holocaust" should not have made me almost laugh, but it did. #ashamed
Oh, but come on! People who slaughter innocents are totally cool!
You're just bound and determined not to understand or hear anything anyone says that doesn't support your particular mindset, aren't you? Yes, I'm still talking about bad writing, because that's what the problem is.
