I mean, I don’t know how familiar you are with Jon Favreau but bland and generic are kind of his main calling cards.
I remember watching the original Lion King and being so blown away by the animation. There was that moment when the camera refocused on the ants walking along the tree branch in the foreground, and I just thought, “This is amazing. They can actually animate something this beautiful.”

I concur. There was an even more cinematic feel to this episode’s proceedings, that exceeded even last year’s wonderful season.

Er, you know John Oliver isn’t a journalist, right? And yet, a lot of journalists aren’t and haven’t been asking these questions. Sexual harassment is “rude” and “entirely unwelcome,” yet it’s been treated as a big joke by Hollywood for decades.
I mostly agree, the only problem is that I wish they wouldn’t have written the principle off from season 1. What Gamby/Russell did to her was really awful, but they kind of just dropped with a shrug. She was a great character, so I would have liked to see her get revenge.
