I legit love the first Aquaman. It’s a bit uneven and the soundtrack sometimes seems to work against the action but it swings big, has some great emotional beats and, most importantly, is completely bonkers. I hope the new one is just as mental.
Oooh, Vegas residency, swanky! How’s the buffet there?
The movie’s about a woman with the mind of an infant, who a bunch of guys try to fuck. Have fun with that.
He’s always been a complete and utter knob. Right from the start. And listening to him now, on that new podcast with the 4 other late-night hosts, really drives home how truly talentless he is.
Seems like you’re a silly person!
thank you for finally being honest.
They’re not the most exciting duo to be at the center of this thrilling adventure, though they’re at least more interesting than an attorney who defended child slavery making it out of Burning Man, but that does at least make this more funny.
Here’s a wild idea: give Zack Snyder a movie series of Shakespeare’s history plays. It can be completely his own cinematic universe to keep him busy and happy, there’s plenty of giant battle scenes where his talent as a visual artist can be put to great use, and the whole thing is already written for him so there’s no…
Had a friend take me to that show about 20 years ago. It’s not particularly good.
Honest opinion: I liked the show, but I never “loved” the show, and kinda do feel a little like I wasted my time now. I would honestly say if you skip it, you aren’t missing anything. Even with moments of cool action, Season 1 is a slow burn and while it might not technically end on a cliffhanger, it really has a…
The Peripheral ends on a very confusing resolution to the central conflict, with a clear “here’s where we go next.” It’s entirely watchable and enjoyable as a standalone.
I think that’s my favorite Bowie story.
Worth headline ever!
That’s an interesting choice. I see her as a more of a Hot Mess Barbie, but maybe I’m just saying that because she played a sketchy character in Joy Ride and Portia was pretty chaotic in Search Party. I say that with love, as Portia was my favorite.
I don’t care anymore.
That’s gotta be a good thing, right?
Marvel had a real opportunity here to break out of their box and lean into the obvious mystery/paranoia of a spy thriller. Somehow, they decided to ditch that for something of a mess.
