I feel like we’re at the point in Los Bros Hernandez’ career where everyone is pretty much taking them for granted, like Charles Schulz in the 90s. “Oh, this is still around? And they’re making new issues? Okay.” When they die, everyone is going to gain a new appreciation for them and wish there was more.
Sesame Street originally had a sharp and smart edge back when Henson was running the show. Then he died, Elmo took over, and it became just like every other average cutesy preschool program.
If you get too wrapped up in minor little details, there’s a danger you forget the most important thing — whether or not the story you’re trying to tell is engaging enough.

The only reason I can think of why they’d make a minor deal out of Kara’s mom being alive in Episode 20 is because they plan to kill her for real in Episode 22. I hope it’s not that predictable, but it probably is.
I appreciate that they defined a pronunciation for it. There’s an AVGN video covering the game where he constantly says “Teras Kas-sai.”
Thing is, journalism was very profitable IF you could go up against the thousands of people competing for that very job and win out though a combination of talent and luck. Plenty of Hunters existed and were just never given the opportunity, because there weren’t enough opportunities.

I’ve got a phone that does this, and I don’t understand the instructions in that link. They spend miles of type on technical details explaining how the infection works and don’t tell you specifically how to get rid of it.
When people quit big-audience websites like this one, I never understand why. Are they moving up? Is there a game website that pays more than this one yet offers just as much editorial freedom? I can’t think of one.
Quantic games always get chewed up in the reviews, and months later everyone is like “Ah, Heavy Rain, that was a good’un.”
