I mean, based on what Billie said, she thinks her mom would have no issues with people discussing this, and would in fact encourage people NOT to be afraid to discuss it, to decrease stigma. Carrie Fisher was definitely not a private woman.

Fisher had relapsed, I believe, at least twice since she first got sober. (She’s very frank about it in her books.) If it was just non-opiate prescription drugs in her system, or if they were talking about the results of past drug use, I think the released report would have specified that, and I think her daughter…

I thought the same. I have bipolar disorder and ADHD. I take medications for each, plus a medication for side effects, plus an allergy medication (thanks, pollen). In total, they’d find five medications in my system, one of which is controlled, yet all legally prescribed to me and taken as directed.

Yeah I’m a terrible person, I hate trauma victims. That was my point thanks for getting it. As a kid, it was great when people said my younger sibling died because God needed him. I’m not mad at trauma victims, I’m mad at religious bullshit.

This is good parenting! Just think of all the things I could have accomplished when I was a kid if my lazy ass parents would have done the chewing for me! I could have been learning to play an instrument or something, but no, I had to sit there masticating like some kind of asshole!
