I feel the same way. Coverage of queer issues here generally sucks. I think it’s a shame there isn’t a section devoted to LGBT+ issues. Or an entire other site, like The Root, or The Splinter.

I liked the second and third books in the Southern Reach trilogy, but I feel like Annihilation is a good standalone. If you’re interested in trying something else by Vandermeer, I recommend Borne. You might like it more than Annihilation.
