I like this change, but I would have also accepted that killing cows should have had the guards put on alert. You are literally killing off someone’s livelihood, so just like if you looted something while a guard was watching/around, killing cows should have engaged guard aggression.
I love that devs are being given the freedom to have a sense of humor. This is actually a great way to patch this, as it doesn’t break game theory, it solves the problem without damaging the overall economy, and it’s damned hilarious.
