I see some design influence from the LCP2000 in the Volvo 480:

For $7, one could buy a new SV650 and actually have some credibility on an entry-level bike

Not that this really matters to Americans, as I’m not sure we ever got a diesel Volvo in the United States (maybe? Feel free to check me on that)

My guess is the 2.2L Diesel is not for US market.

Cool, BMW built a Mercedes AMG E63 S.

People missing the Ford Ranger.

Well call me superhuman then, I guess. I’ll resist that thing’s lure all day, every day, until the minute he un-fucks-it-up by giving it a reasonable ride height. As far as I’m concerned, he might as well bolt a big aluminum wing on the trunk until he does.

Good on BMW for being brave and continuing to sell. THEIR cars didn’t cheat to pass emissions tests. They just use urea injection :)

Never realized how similar these can be to a Fox body mustang, in profile.

I’ll stick to my guns and still say it’s OK. If for no other reason than because it’s the internet, dammit.

All this- and a couple of other things.

I really liked the 90s 900SS-CR. I thought the post facelift (99 onwards) were totally butt ugly. And this one? ‘The “most beautiful” at the EICMA 2016,’ is that true? I found this bike to be a bit gaudy looking, with somewhat busy headlight and all the styling features of today’s car designs that I don’t like all

That guy leaving a cylinder head sitting out for you, that’s the real hero of this story. Doesn’t know you from Adam, “sure, I’ve got a spare, I’ll just put it where he can find it, you tell him where to go...”

I never looked very closely, but you’re right. What is it with modern designers and random or unresolved lines? Who taught these people? The crazy thing is that the Malibu is good by today’s standards, despite being a clear committee design, because at least it has some level of restraint (I’m looking at you, Nissan,

Pop the distributor cap. If the cam slipped, the rotor won’t be aligned with #1 @ TDC anymore.

It makes me very happy that a parts store in a very small town had points and rotor for a 70 year old engine.

This was cemented before they sold Opel off. But this will be the last generation of Opels we’ll see as Buicks, as a result.
