I dunno...
In a word: yes. Kubota has recently offered models with increased horsepower, but nothing in the high horsepower segments. Big farms actually do use Kubota products, just not for tasks with high horsepower demands.
Thanks for setting me straight.
Why would it “cost the parents thousands” if it is insured? Comprehensive insurance covers minor damage as well, right?
God no. If you were correct, people would be killed by the day in states w/o inspections due to mechanical failure.
Yeah. Agreed. If I were relying on something with a 6v generator every day someplace with a real winter, upgrading to modern components would be the way to go. I feel victory each time RPMs climb and an ammeter budges to the right of “O” - but that is no way to live if you rely on something daily in cold temps.
I bet it was a good upgrade. Especially if it does not run for extended periods between startups. I have a love / hate relationship with old forklifts.
Except that dirty terminals, damaged wires, and a tired starter probably created a much larger amp draw - and that created excess heat and cooked it.
Yeah, no. A starter and a generator are not major issues. They are simple critters. A good electrical shop can replace cores / rebuild them pretty easily (yes- a good electrical shop can be hard to find). And let’s face it, if you cranked it to death, you kinda needed the universe to press your “pause” button. There…
Point taken.
Whatever Stef- If that GT3 hit the wall at “full speed” it probably would no longer look like a GT3. The shop appears to have taken some liberties, but let’s not start with publishing alternative facts.
I suspect that there was some value in sharing certain technologies across platforms, but maybe centralization compounded the negative impact of every bad decision.
In that case, I wonder if the recent demise is due to the parent becoming more involved.
Good point.
Totally agree. The regulations should have been updated and common to everyone.
Is there a brand that GM has acquired in modern times and not ruined?
I try to be agnostic and just stick to facts. I believe in a level playing field that promotes innovation but does not discriminate against existing market participants by creating two regulatory tiers. I believe that app-dispatch has brought efficiencies to the market. However, because app-dispatch operations like…
Ryan: I think you will find this interesting.
Thank you for posting the filing.
