A quick start-up is hardly the sole territory of a Mac. Just about any machine running an SSD is going to start-up quickly.

Let's just say I'm hoping Social Security is still there. It's a long shot but it's all I have.
Let's see.. not enough money in my 401? Check.
Why again an I supposed to care what batshit crazy Michelle and creepy smile Jim Bob think or do?
Holy absolute hell - where do people find the time to work on this? I'd like to know if the kid was actually involved in the making at all. That's the true value.
Liking this one thanks :)
If you live in a tiny little micro house, make sure you have a huge dictionary on your bookshelf because that's important.
I do too - just pop them off and take them out to the garage. I can blow off the dust in 2 seconds with the compressor.
Muffley? HA!
I was installing a replacement hinge in one of my mothers cabinet doors and the door needed to have a small portion milled out a it to fit the new hinge (old style not available). When I used a Forstner bit and had it on my drill press. Did I clamp the piece? Who needs to clamp it. I'll just hold it.
I feel pity for anyone using candles to heat their space if they have no power.
Comparing the heat generated with the cost and toxicity of candle smoke, you would be much better off using a small 200W heater instead.
A fund raiser for his back pay? LOL
Get ready for the flood of n00bs offering free advice to people that have over 1000 hours in game. Gee thanks for offering up your awesome survival strategy ! I never thought of that!
I tried watching this how and it's the worst of formulated 'reality' bullshit. How surprising that a former alcoholic turned born-again moron wants to go all judgmental on everyone else.
I guess you could say that things are getting pretty serious now.
I'd buy a Rift but not this. I'm not looking to physically run around a map. The experience I think most people want does not include slipping on a round pad.
Great article - thanks for the link :)
I think engineering schooling needs more 'tinkering'. Some of the co-op kids we've had are really lacking in any kind of hands-on skill. I can understand that for software engineering but if you're into electrical or mechanical engineering, you should really not be afraid to get your hands dirty.
I've got that same toy and did exactly the same thing. I tried quite a long time to re-assemble it but just couldn't get the gearing right. I think it's still in my mother attic :-P
