Quite a lot. Way more copper + rare earth metals for the motors, lithium and whatever other chemicals/components the batteries require. I’m not saying electric cars are bad, just that they aren’t as clean as people think they are.

They’re mostly the ones who have the money to spend on cars like this so it makes sense.

I try not to tell people that but I also don’t avoid it. New riders need to know that they aren’t invincible and that it’s a very likely possibility that it will happen. And just because it does happen, it doesn’t make them less of a person. Crashing is a normal expectation with riding.

I bought a Bavaria in high school for $200 that needed some bodywork. Mechanically it was in great condition, just had to change plugs/wires and some other consumables and sync the carbs. I didn’t have the facilities and my parents didn’t have the intestinal fortitude for me to have it. Sold it for $375 after I got it…
