I found the game kind of meh. It had some interesting aspects that were mostly counterbalanced by boring and/or tedious elements. I get the “mixed” status on steam because that is right where I’d put it. I gave up about 25 hours in cause it just wasn’t holding my attention.

The industry’s obsession with broad sweeping NDAs and the ‘mystique’ of game dev is ridiculous and one of the many reasons it’s such a terrible industry to work in, can’t talk about hostile work conditions if you can’t talk about the work period.

Even if it’s a situation where he’d legally be determined to be in the right, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s worth the fight for one dude against a giant corporation.

Considering how that was phrased, it sounds less like this was Rockstar/2K generally asking him to do this, and more the Housers specifically personally asking him to shut it down.
