Getting real sick and tired of seeing trailers for games that are still 6+ years out.
Do what Fallout 4 did: Say absolutely nothing, then tell me in June that it’s coming out in November.

Presumably the next several N7 day trailers will involve the masked figure riding an elevator.
I liked that they turned off comments on Deadspin forever ago, but kept the “Without *Fear Favor or Compromise” bollocks as a motto.
RIP Jezebel and godspeed to the writers and staff. Ever since they shut down Splinter and turned off comments on Deadspin/The Root I knew it was only a matter of time until they took out Jez.
“Spanfeller additionally announced Thursday that G/O would undergo broader restructuring that will result in layoffs.”
I will say I wasn’t expecting the announcements to get bumped by news of Jezebel getting suddenly shuttered, but I’ve seen two aggregators and CNN where it’s happening.
Sorry I know not related but
I think VO is the main bottleneck here. In BG3, the player character is silent. In ME, the PC is completely voiced. Players will expect a Turian to sound different from a Krogan, which means including those as playable species would require multiple VOs for every line.
Must that word be used for the video game storyline? Really? I know you’re making a hyperbolic point but maybe ease off the sexual assault metaphor since it’s, you know, not fucking applicable.
This is an insane misreading of SO MUCH of the text of these games. The Geth and EDI are *absolutely* living beings. Their whole *narrative purpose* is to drive the player to consider their rights as a species and individuals.
Lol they’re fully sapient.
The Geth and EDI are not living beings. They are machines built by living beings to serve a purpose and as such, their creators can choose to decommission them when they are outdated or unnecessary. Therefore, it is not genocide to destroy them.
As a counterpoint, I thought Andromeda had the worst gameplay of the series because they inexplicably removed the ability to actually cast your squadmates’ powers and instead just changed them to be in like, aggressive or defensive modes. It completely eliminated the ability to do things like 3's fancy timed biotic…
I really don’t wanna rehash ME3 ending shit this much later, but skipping over the literal genocide induced by the Destroy ending as one of the “downsides” is so wild lol
as it was confirmed in Andromeda she was in contact with the Initiative after their departure from the Milky Way.
I really hope it’s not Shepard in any form.
Just let us play as Niftu Cal you cowards.
I’m not sure if it would be great for ME to turn Shepherd in some kind of larger than life Master Chief figure that gets out of hand and ridiculous.
I’d be okay in Andromeda as long as it’s within a better game.
