I sometimes go back to a few of the ones I frequented as a teenager. Just to see if there's any life left in them, to see if there's any names I recognise. It's kind of sad how these places which once teemed with life and activity just dwindle away.

CROSS PLATFORM GAMING HAS ARR-

Did you see when he threw the tea bags at Cory Booker? That was the moment I realized Larry Wilmore is truly the spiritual successor to Colbert.

I fucking love Larry Wilmore. He was on the same LA to DC flight with me for Obama's inauguration. I didn't say anything bc he was with his family.

"We made one of the most successful RPG games in history, that was number one on Steam even years after it was released. What should we do next?" "Jump into the vastly overcrowded MMO market?" "YES."

I like to blame Elder Scrolls Online for delaying a far superior Elder Scrolls VI.

Well, at least they are releasing the game on console. Thought that was going to get scrapped.

He's doing very good, so far. I always liked him on TDS, but he only showed up about twice a month and I was worried that he wouldn't have enough material for four nights a week. Turns out he does have enough.
I will miss him saying (ever so politely), "Fuck you Jon". I always busted up when he said that.

I had this terrible feeling that I was going to have to feel bad for Larry Wilmore. I always liked him on The Daily Show, but after Colbert and Last Week Tonight being great... that's a lot of expectation to live up to.

But noooo, she's a chubby lady on TV, if you don't like her, you're just a sexist hater!

I remember some pretty clear evidence that the guy was homeless. Like a shopping cart full of his belongings or something, I don't remember, but he didn't seem borderline to me. I could be wrong, though.

Bingo. Glad we studied the same book of lame riddles when we were kids.

I will find you, and I will high-five you.

re: American Sniper

I see one trolly type is making comments about boys and puberty, but honestly I think this all misses the point: the girls winning may not last forever, but for now they have the confidence to know that they can even TRY (and sometimes succeed) at standing up to a group of male humans and win.

"The girls' coach, Tariq Toran...left his job as an assistant coach for a semipro men's team in search of less 'whining and complaining.'"

For all those that remember...

Well, it's about time. Not that this excuses her, but from how I see it, she's the daughter of a generation of New York City artists who made careers for themselves by being very much unfiltered (and often in a manner that was very candid about the human body and sexuality). It seems like she's trying to take that art

Why on earth are you using a picture of the Ka'aba as your graphic for this story? Would you use a picture of Saint Peter's Basilica for a story about an execution in Italy?
