Like come the fuck on. That’s not even a “tip”, it’s “Use the thing they just gave you for exactly what it tells you to use it for”. FFS Zack, you could douche this up a LOT more but that you slipped that in there for the seemingly “fuck of it” surprises me (but  it shouldn’t).

This was legitimately distressing to see on an article titled “23 tips BEFORE playing the game.” Really upset with Kotaku

New weapons in God of War are always part of the fun and surprises in the game/story. Thanks for spoiling a spear is one of those new weapons we’ll get this time around, and that it’s obtained late in the game -_-

The Library argument is kinda bizarre.

It took all but 2 paragraphs for me to know I would be dismissing the entire article.

People who play visual novels and complain that they are, in fact, visual novels are so incredibly frustrating. Please go do that to literally any other genre and leave visual novels alone.  It’s ok to just acknowledge that a genre isn’t for you and move along.

I respect the take, but to be fair, only up to a certain point. There are definitely some QOL things to help smooth out the gameplay such as being able to speed up Digimon moving across the board, though holding A/the “execute” button does help during combat. Dinkum has been my main go-to, but I peppered in the backlog of RPGs and such.  I got five hours on it before Fallout: New Vegas demanded a recharge, which is pretty damned impressive.  Similar battery life for a LOT of games from the late aughts and early teens. Love it!

it’s interesting how we’ve sort of regressed when it comes to gender stereotypes. The character is literally a male with long hair. That’s it. There’s not much radical about this. They’re not trans. Or gay. Or nonbinary or whatever. And everyone’s losing their mind.

Okay but that really doesn’t speak towards this particular character. That being said this is a larger issue in Otaku culture generally speaking, and has been in the past for underage gym leaders.

Aren’t most gym leaders canonically children? This is a little weird, Sisi. That being said I’m supportive and possess flexible gender and sexuality, but all this sexualizing of the gym leaders is just gross.
