Dan still knocks one out of the park every so often doesn’t he. That was some beautiful writing about the human condition Dan. Fantastic work.

“Nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, it’s awful”
-review by Savage Nobody’s 1st grade teacher, Samuel Beckett

I completely get the compulsive cleaning as a way to try to exercise control. The day I found out my uncle died I cleaned the entire house, including the oven and baseboards. I think I cleaned for 10 hours straight.

I usually am, except I always accidentally end up in jail.

No doubt. As a lifelong bleeding-heart liberal in the Old North State, the last three elections (2016, 2018 & 2019) have grown in importance. This one is even more important.

I really hate how the trump era has caused to many left-leaning people to work so hard at denying reality when it comes to democratic politicians. Yes you should still vote for him, yes the other guy was exponentially worse, but it’s still bad that he was unfaithful to his wife. Imagine it’s your own s/o and see how

Estate planning attorney take: he had a will or trust written, and his lawyer told him to include a letter to his loved ones as a nice final token. It’s not that uncommon. It’s also the simplest explanation given that the letter was held sealed by the lawyer and presented to her when he died. A lot of people use “very

I’m reeeeeeeaaaaaalllllly hoping Forest has just enough publicity to tank his own chances. To me he comes across like Goofus to Cooper’s Gallant, and since he’s in an executive position the contrast between the dumb shit he’d like to do and what’s actually happening is pretty stark.

Indeed. And that’s just the letter writer’s husband. You’ll have to get into the thousands in order to compete with Savage Nobody and Mike Pence.

Dear Savage Nobody,

I get it, and I get how “super organized” can translate into controlling, but I think for some folks it’s really about controlling what they can in their own environment, as opposed to controlling other people. This is purely anecdotal, but I went on a cleaning and organizing tear a month or so ago around the house -

Recent polls have shown Cunningham increasing his lead over Tillis, so it seems like the people who care about this issue weren’t “persuadable” anyway.

Like I said. It’s a fine line. Sounds like your dad falls in the good side of things.  I have a lot of experience of the other side of the line and it’s scarred me and how I see the world

Savage Nobody isn’t Death, but is probably responsible for more loss of life, so consider him qualified to answer this question. In his 1st grade class play about the founding of America, Savage Nobody played Squanto and taught the pilgrims (and the audience) about how to bury a fish with your corn in order to help it

Dear Death,

It would be weirder if a letter said someone died “on purpose.”

Eh, my dad is no longer young, but he is very organized without being controlling. He started a google doc I have access to in case of his demise. My stepmom is a wonderful, sweet lady who is very capable, but she’s been forgetful and having trouble with numbers/math lately so he wanted me to have financial/bank info

Typical for conservatives, they’re ignoring that Tillis’ ex-wife divorced him citing cruel and inhumane treatment. Under Tennessee law (where they were married), that can include domestic violence, adultery, emotional/verbal abuse, and sexual assault, all of which are far more serious than any of Cunningham’s texts.

In fact, I think I can confidently say that the only that times you’d say somebody died by accident is when you’re confessing to the police you killed him “but it was an accident”

That’s one reading.
