Agree, that was some TV-chef-worthy porg!
Agree, that was some TV-chef-worthy porg!
I watched The Last Jedi for the second time this weekend. I had been trying to avoid talk about it, so I did not read reviews/comments before I watched it for the first time. Since I did read what everyone was saying in between viewings, I had some questions about it that I was looking for answers to. There is a lot…
I just saw Drive for the first time last week. I was already familiar with Isaac, and was surprised that his character was mostly just adequate. I guess I’d chalked it up to the fact that the character didn’t get much interesting stuff to do. I mean, he mostly just had to convey his gratitude and discomfort with Ryan…
Agree that Jack Black is the best thing in Jumanji. I thought I hated him, but I really liked Bernie and then Kung Fu Panda happened, and I have been in his corner ever since. Anyway, Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle was a good kid flick. I was going to take my kid to see it based on the review, and was surprised and…
Well, to be fair, he would have to actually be a good writer, and also evince a great deal of empathy for the victim of said molestation.
I can tell you’re mirror-universe Trump because you’re telling us the truth!
Well, yes. And to the extent I’ve experienced mistreatment in the workplace, it’s been of the garden-variety kind and not the sexual kind. But yes, reasonable and respectful bosses are out there, at least on this side of the pond.
We’ll, I’m glad somebody is doing that, trying all the ramen and telling us about it. Thanks for the info!
Yes! I think the chicken flavor is the best, personally.
Please don’t take that one commenter’s attitude personally. The answer is a reference to The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which you have obviously not read yet, but if you have some time to kill, you should get on it. It’s a lot of fun!
Can Dan declare a moratorium on discussions of FB stalking for spank material? Stalking people who aren’t your friend on FB is creepy and weird. I guess that using photos from there is morally the same as beating it to someone you don’t know very well without a photo, but can we just stop talking about it?
That DOES sound exciting!
Chris Cornell doesn’t count? I thought that was pretty significant.
It is, it is! I got a huge alcoholic beverage when I watched It earlier this year. I had to stumble out of the theater THREE TIMES to pee during the film. All in all, I still recommend the experience.
Yes, they can degrade. Also, they have moving parts and can straight up break. I kept onto my VCR and bought a few tapes at Goodwill a few years back, just because there are really a lot of good movies available there for nothing since the format is obsolete. I promise I’m not a serial killer.
Well, I know what I dragging my kid to see this weekend!
That was my reaction to The Thousand Autumns of Jacob deZoet!
I just wrote the same thing! Tolkein’s writing is just very personable, and that was a thing that definitely did not come through to me as a middle schooler.
I finally read The Fellowship of the Ring. I’d tried to read it ad a pre-teen and unsurprisingly didn’t get through it. It was good enough that I want to read the next one, but I don’t have to do it immediately. I also read an old Dragonlance book, The Chronicles of Huma. It was something my husband has read and…
That’s quite a story! Thank you for sharing.
